FountechLogo Design Contest

To all designers. The majority of our fountains throw water. I would like to see a little more action with the water. Also a little more of a range with the blues. I would also like my own little "mascot of sorts". But please, not a frog!

Does anyone have any questions?

OK. I may consider a frog. But it has to be an awesome frog with great complimentary coloring. Nothing tropical though. It wouldn't fit with our geography!

I'm really liking what you all are coming up with! Love the mascots that are starting to show up!

To all designers. Does it hurt you ideas to not be ranked? Or is it better to rank them or put them in the non interested column so that you may withdraw them?

maybe, is better you to put them on the non interested, cause they can be guiding us to created your logo, where you like or dislike...no hurt felling for me...

Mogo, I can see what you are writing to the others........... please take your medicine, then try something that at least gives me a little of what i am looking for. I'm sure you are a very nice person and you are just having a bad day. I hope its nothing serious.

Ranking is important but this alone is not enough to guide the designer...feedback is a must have...to many CH's just don't bother with feedback, for several reasons, one of which is they just do not know how to express what they want from a designer.

My suggestion is to rank those designs which pique your interest and guide the designer with feedback. those designs you are not interested in eliminate. You will get designer you are upset because the artwork has been eliminated...but that is part of the doing design work here on LT

REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR CONTEST NOT OURS...over the next few day you'll get to know the designers and in the end you will have product you can be proud of

Thanks Orion, I really believe he/she was just having a bad day. We all have them. It's not a big deal, i was playing into him a little too. I do have a sense of humor (as obvious from my current first choice #71 ). All is well!

Whats your big deal, why so picky, your old logo was just fine. These designs are all great, mine is ok, but these designers are giving it their all and you just keep nit picking. MOVE THIS, change that, color this, remove that. I guess you are right ORION it is his contest but he is just rude. This is probably not even his company. He probably married into it!

To All: Ha Ha, Jokes on me. Turns out Mogo is a co-worker of mine with a hidden talent. He was just messing with me the whole time. To his credit, before i knew who it was, i legitimately ranked his work. I will continue to rank his work as i see it fitting into what i want. Thanks for the laughs Mogo. Now get back to work!!!

OK! I'm caught. Designers you are all excellent artists, and I am sure that he will be happy with any one of your designs. I just wanted to see how far I could push him. We both work together in a seperate company (NOT FOUNTECH), he told me about the contest and I entered quitely. The whole group messes with each other like this. If you read I made sure to say to each designer not to say anything back to me. I did not want you to step on toes and loose your chance at the win. I know that I am not going to win and I want him to rank me fairly. I don't have the time to devote to adding a mascot / character etc. which he wants. GOOD LUCK!

he's going to Florida (but with his in-laws! ) not a vacation in my mind!!! HA!

We are not traveling with the inlaws, but we are visiting them.. Since they take care of the whole vacation it works out pretty good. We are in Amelia Island Florida. and have our own condo. The whole family comes down to visit over easter. We will be sailing on Saturday, and Golf a few times as well.

Hello all. I have extended the contest by 5 days. What i "thought" i wanted has been evolving into something completely different. My original thought of a colorful, fun, playful mascot has not been working out as i had hoped. In fairness to those whom i may have unintentionally misled, here is more time to re-vamp your designs. I apoligize for your wasted time, however, it's not really a waste as it was more of a process in creating the best logo. Thank you ALL again for your feedback and excellent ideas!
