Cool abstraction of water. Fun colors. Techno font. Overall good vibe ;-)
Will reproduce well on anything; print, biz cards, embroidery.
A little different direction than most. Fun, yet elegant and timeless.
Hope you like...
Comments and suggestions, please!

Brighter, punchier color. Less aqua, more blue.

#121 Love it! Like the blue better than aqua. The little gold fishy has everyone in love though. But you're right, yours (as well as his) will reproduce well on anything. I can see why you're ranked so high!

Thanks.
Yes -- I understand; little mascots are fun! Sometimes they don't age well, though,
so I wanted to give you an option. Comments, suggestions, and requests are
always welcome.

#121 How would you modify the colors on this for use on a blue background? We wear blue work shirts because of the blue dye and pond yuck.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Happy Easter to you, yoo, Jeff!
#192, #193, #196 and #196 give you an idea of how the logo will look on those blue work shirts.
Thanks,
Geoff
P.S. We lived in the Columbus area for years! Sawmill (until it became such a traffic mess, and Westerville.
My 14-year-old son was born at Riverside :-)

Ha! I hit you back on the private side.... Small world. Matter of fact, I'm also a Columbus firefighter and sawmill is my first in district (most of it anyway).

Hey, Jeff with a J...

Had an A-ha moment. Why not use water to form the ' f ' ?
It could become your icon; a stand alone without the text at some point after it gains some equity.
Hope you dig it. Thoughts...?
Thanks,
Geoff with a G

#223 I do like it. It may be a little abstract in its present form though. It's also a little reminiscent to another entry (im sure it wasnt intentional!) I'm having a hard time getting past the goldfish. Everyone around here likes it. (including my wife)(although she really liked the frogs from the character 27 dude) and the guys nixed that.

Which entry does it resemble and I'll have a look. If it's too close, I'll withdraw out of respect.
Honestly didn't remember ever seeing anyone replace the ' f ' with anything...
In the meantime -- I'll keep exploring new directions. This is fun stuff.
Thanks, Jeff!

No, i dont want you to withdraw it. It's not that close. There does seem to be some copying from some other designers though. I wont mention Fernando's name though, out of respect. Ha! Did i say that out loud? Oops! I promptly put his submissions in the not interested column.

#271 lovin this one. blues for our clean waters. green for contrast, plus our biological treatments (i know...i didnt mention that, but we had enough to deal with already!), still . clean and simple, plus i have a mascot. although we may have to work with him a little to identify him!

You just may have done it!
