Doctoral programme in wildlife biology research - LUOVALogo Design Contest

LUOVA is a doctoral programme that trains PhD students in different fields of biology (in particular ecology, evolutionary biology, conservation, and management of natural populations). LUOVA is a doctoral programme at the University of Helsinki.

Green, blue and orange would be fine but others may be used as well.

In addition to our webpages the logo will be used in letters and in scientific posters and presentations. It should not be too complex. The word ‘LUOVA’ should be written in large letters in the logo and the specification ‘Doctoral programme in wildlife biology research’ in smaller. If possible the Finnish version of the name should be visible as well but if it does not look good it can be left out. The Finnish name is ‘Luonnonvaraisten eliöiden tutkimuksen tohtoriohjelma’.

Our old logo with the old name is attached. The good thing about the old logo is its simplicity and the letter O which can be used as a background illustration in posters. Examples of posters with the old logo are attached as well.
