What We Do
I am a self employed occupational therapist who provides injury management and occupational health services (eg worksite assessments, manual handling training, ergonomic assessments and training) to companies and government departments.
Industry
Consulting
Color Preferences
Black, "silver," white. I prefer black/dark grey on a white background.
If there is colour, I prefer blue, green (but not yellow/green, more the turquoise end), purple (any or all)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I had in mind a strong, simple design that looks like it is made out of silver. However I am open to any other suggestions. My strength is taking a complicated situation and providing clarity and direction using excellent verbal and written communication.
I would like the flexibility to be able to change the business name and keep the symbol.

#4 Like: It's more of a unique logo. Definately prefer the logo to writing ratio in terms of size.

Try: something less floral/plant like.

#2: like: the boldness/simplicity of the logo.
It does remind me of another logo

I prefer having all the writing in black, rather than gray (that might be because my vision is not the best, and black on whit is always the boldest/easiest to see!)

#3: I really like the fact that the logo doesn't remind me of other logos, but it is busier and more complex than I had in mind.

I was wondering about a 3D shiny metallic object (conveying quality, clarity) that has a bright border of green - blue - purple that blend into each other (I just like those colours). I'm sorry I'm so bad at explaining what I have in my mind (thus the need for your creative ideas!!)
I also had an idea of objects that fit neatly into each other (but NOT like puzzle pieces).
I am hedging towards that one that have a splash of bright colour.

I really appreciate all your entries.

Colour is very important to me (I am realising, as I see more entries). I am finding it difficult to describe the colours I like, so I looked on a website (http://cloford.com/resources/colours/500col.htm) and got some names and numerical values for them (which make no sense to me, but I'm hoping will make sense you you!). My columns haven't worked well. Let me know if this is gibberish, and perhaps give me other ideas for more effectively communicating colours.

colour

blue* #0000FF 0 0 255 16711680
blue 2 #0000EE 0 0 238 15597568

purple 2 #912CEE 145 44 238 15608977
purple 3 #7D26CD 125 38 205 13444733
(the above colours can be combined in some way. For stand alone colour I prefer the blue, but blending it into the purple and/or turquoise is also good.

red 1 #FF0000 255 0 0 255
red 2 #EE0000 238 0 0 238
red 3 #CD0000 205 0 0 205
The red is a stand alone colour, not to be combined with other colours, just black/grey/white.
