Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please do your best to incorporate the ideas below that lead to the name : Mars Hill Realty Group.

Mars Hill is the location in Greece where the Apostle Paul preached to a very opinionated crowd of influential philosophers and religious thinkers. Many people believed that there were more gods in Athens than men! Wherever the Apostle Paul looked, “his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols.” Nevertheless, Paul boldly proclaimed the truth about Jesus and some men joined him and believed.

At Mars Hill Realty Group we believe that idea needs to be the foundation of all we do: Boldly proclaim the truth to our clients. That’s our promise to you. No matter how opinionated our clients may be and no matter how influential the media is, we will not be swayed. Our #1 goal is to give you straightforward, honest and intelligible information about the real estate market so you can achieve the goal that every buyer and seller wants: Getting the most favorable terms when selling or buying your next home.

Mars Hill is the English translation for the word “Areopagus” which is Latin for “the hill of Mars.” In Roman mythology, Ares, was the god of war. So how does war relate to real estate? Simple. Every successful war plan must start with how well you can accurately predict the actions of the enemy based off historical patterns, known doctrine and other data. This is called predictive analysis. With a war-proven background in Military Intelligence, our broker has been able to take his analytical abilities and apply these principles successfully in real estate. You'll never know what the other buyer or seller is willing to buy or sell that house for, but with due diligence and a comprehensive plan, our agents will make sure you have the advantage at every real estate negotiation. At Mars Hill Realty Group, we've adapted a unique approach to negotiations unlike any other brokerage, and we do it successfully.

All of this accurate and insightful information we gather is used to help leverage our client’s position during negotiations. I hope you’re beginning to see that the art of negotiations isn’t just a hobby we think about in our spare time, it’s a primary skill. Every one of our agents is required to become a Certified Negotiation Expert within their first 12 months of joining the company, and negotiation training is given on a regular basis to all of our agents.

Magnita #5, #8 - I like the structure of these designs, combines the "house/real estate" look with the look of greek architecture that goes well with the name. I need something bold, that makes an impression and I feel #5 may be too small to see on a sign....I do like the simplicity of the design. I also like the incorporation of a "hill" in the logo. Maybe make the color bolder for #8 and doing something different with the home. Can we add an "MH" inside the home to see how that looks?

Montoshlall #11 - like the boldness, but not the circle shape. Looks too much like a law firm logo.

Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback!
Every designer has a private area - you can post your feedback there
as well. If you click at the image of the designer's logo the link will get you there.
I think it will be much easier for you to communicate with the designers.
Hope this information to be helpful for you :)

Cheers,
magnita

Thanks for the new designs, I like your creativity with the omega, but I think it may "clutter" the building too much. The "MH" in the home I like. I'm not fond of fades or shadows, but just crisp clean lines.

I would like to see some "vertical" logos, since I will be using this on a real estate sign that is shaped vertically and the logo might fit better that way. Thanks!

6/30 - POSSIBLE DESIGN IDEA - If anyone is willing to try something a little different, I thought about having a MARTIAN as part of the logo. It's definitely a revolutionary idea, because you don't see real estate companies with character logos and it would help my company be more memorable. Incorporate that with a HILL of some type and a possible picture of a HOME. That would help depict the words "Mars" and "Hill" and "Real Estate." Thanks and looking forward to seeing some of your creativity at work!

Thanks, Edward

I had the same idea, but thought it would not be very serious,
because you've wrote in the brief that your company is botique...
I'm jumping on for it! Glad you have the same thoughts:)

Thanks for the great creativity. After seeing a spaceship, antennas and a full-blown martian, I think it might be better to keep the MARTIAN idea as subtle as possible. The spaceship has the most appeal to me right now since it won't scare away little children:) You're all doing great work, thanks!

UPDATE: I'm really liking the pictoral elements of REAL ESTATE and a HILL.....I appreciate you working with me as I try and pinpoint how to depict the MARS element in the logo. I have had some discussion with my team that any relation to MARTIANS could be counter-productive to what I want my company to communicate about truth since most people regard that as a fictional subject. I'm still not 100% opposed to the idea however and am still contemplating that. Thanks for working with me.

Note to the ch you should also ask designers to submit flat colour versions as well as printing full colour gradient versions on signage might be an impractical expense ?

Logo Designer
Just a note. It's cheaper for me to print full color signage in the US than it is for offset printing.

There were versions with flat colors, because the CH wanted so,
but suddenly super colorful versions were created on demand.

DESIGNERS: Please keep in mind that I will be using this on many real estate signs. Please make sure the company name can be easily readable from a distance with proper contrasts, etc. Thanks! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the thoughts on printing, I checked signage company on difference between the two types of printing and digital (full color) was only nominally more expensive, so definitely worth it.

I'm being cautioned by some advisors to not let my logos get too "cartooney"....so that will be one of my criteria as well in the last few days of this competition. I appreciate the artwork that has been done, but I want to make sure the logo isnt too "busy" also. Thanks for bearing with me as I evaluate all of these great logos....your expediency in these last few days will be much appreciated.

It's not letting me change rankings for some reason....maybe a designer can bring this up to tech support. This affects the accuracy of points
