more the image of a shining light on a hill. standout image for signage. bold and simple.

I do like the simplicity and use of a hill in the logo. The sun looks a little awkward in the graphic, can we do something different. I changed my preferences for the logo, please take a look if you haven't recently. Thanks for joining in!

more subtle "m", still building on #46

color variations without the gradient

Thanks for variations, maybe I have a dirty mind, but I still fill like the "m" is looking a little bit too much like a body part and I want to def. avoid that. I like the color red still.

i honestly never saw that! ha. i will work more with the "m", maybe try something more abstract. it never hurts to look at things from every perspective, you never know how others will see the logo. thanks!

leaning towards a capital "M"... less suggestive.

Wow, much better. Would it be too much to see if we can add a hidden "H" in the logo too? Maybe using the Hill as the horizontal line. Just a thought. That way the logo would be an M and an H design.

i'll get to work on that... thanks!

worked out your idea with the H. i think it balances out really well. let me know what you think! thanks!

Simple and subtle, I think that looks balanced too. Very nice. Now the hard part, can you add a "martian" theme to the logo without going too over the top? I'm trying to do a play on words with "Mars"

there isn't too much space to add without cramping, but i think adding the red planet in the horizon may give a whole different impression of mars hill... as i continue to tweak the lettering, i notice a distinct "column" look among the vertical members of "Hill" as well... a subtle touch that has developed with some minor changes... there are certainly a lot of levels to the name and the graphics here...

I definitely like the red planet look. I've received comments that the "martian" theme might be counter to the message of truth I want my company to portray. Is the planet the "dot" for the "i"? I notice that the dot is missing.

i had actually removed the dot to achieve more of a column look, but i've included it in the red here for comparison. thanks!

I'm liking the planet mars in the horizon more...but wanted to see if you can make it look more realistic and more obvious that it is Mars we are trying to depict. Can you make the planet look more "real" and maybe bigger?

Logo Designer
a little more planetary. i can't add too much detail without it looking out of place, but i can add the little touches that make it more obvious...

a little contrast/shadow in the planet

Thanks for the changes, it does look a little more like a planet... too bad it wasn't Saturn that we were trying to depict, then we can use the rings so it's very clear that it's a planet. Does Mars have any qualities (besides being red) that would make the circle more identifiable as a planet? I wouldn't mind seeing some variations of the size of the planet...even as large as the entire logo if you think that would look right. Good work!

i know mars has the ice caps and some general craters, so i'll see what i can do to maybe integrate some of those details. i'll also play with the size. more to come! thanks for continuing with the feedback.... it's greatly appreciated!
