Our Vision: To help veterans find a new purpose along with the mutual support and companionship that comes from working with dogs. Our Mission: Our mission is to provide support and companionship for both veterans and shelter dogs. Our staff will coach veterans through a series of hands-on instructional workshops with selected shelter dogs, resulting in a comprehensive understanding of dogs, dog behavior, and our own relationship with dogs. This program, as a transitional step, gives veterans the opportunity to provide a service to their community by engaging with and socializing shelter dogs in need, while at the same time the veterans themselves receive companionship, support and a sense of purpose through their work with the dogs. I’m looking for a very elegant yet somewhat modern look. I don’t want to look like a landscaping company, mountain sports company’s or a run-of-the-mill logo I can get online. I want the colors to be crisp and contrasting, but only 2 color scheme. I want it to look rich if on a black back or clean or on white back. I want the logo to look cool and identifiable without the text, something that would look great on a promo item. I want it to appeal to wealthy prospective clients but not be too intimidating for the ones that aren’t quite there yet. Please make it relevant to Green Ridge, so nothing regarding anything nautical. Also, unless you’re going to come up with something very clever for initials of the company, please don’t waste your time. I want some sort of a design in the logo, even if that design is incorporated into the text, I want a design not just initials. Elegant simplicity can sometimes be the best option. So I don’t need something overly Ornate. Just something unique. Thank you

The Intensive Longitudinal Health Behaviors Network (ILHBN) is a cooperative agreement network consisting of seven research projects and one research coordinating center, funded by the National Institutes for Health, to collaboratively study factors that influence key health behaviors in the dynamic environment of individuals, and how to leverage intensive longitudinal data collection and analytic methods to introduce innovations into longstanding behavioral theories and theory-driven behavior change interventions. The ILHBN research sites study such diverse health behavior changes as prevention of suicidal thoughts and behaviors, smoking, drug use, alcohol use, and sedentary behavior; and the promotion of mental health, sleep, and physical activities. The establishment of the ILHBN enables consolidation and building of a network of resources to enhance current and future theorizing, measurement, analysis, and implementation of sustainable health behavioral change mechanisms.   Mission and Goals: The overarching mission of the ILHBN is to develop an infrastructure to pursue well-designed collaborative projects and complementary site-specific studies that, collectively, accomplish the goals of: (1) introducing innovations into longstanding health behavioral theories; (2) advancing the field of theory-driven behavior change interventions; and (3) providing a framework to guide future intensive longitudinal studies of health behaviors.
