What We Do
The Book Jewel is a community bookstore with a neighborhood, friendly feel. It's a place where service is impeccable and patrons can take their time perusing a wide selection of books. The store has regular author readings, literacy events for children and also sells a variety of unique and local gifts. It is located in the heart of the community of Westchester, so perhaps the tagline "in the heart of Westchester" could be incorporated into the logo.

Color Preferences
blues and oranges, though the final logo will have to be one that can be translated into black only for certain usages
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We'd like to include imagery of both a book and a jewel in the logo. Some of the feelings we would like the logo to portray are casual, inclusive, warm, welcoming, clean, modern, spiritual balance. For inspiration, think the vibe of a yoga studio. Some representative logos that we believe have the same we we are going for are attached.
