I have an idea of what I want my company logo to look like. I have a few rough sketches for you to look at. There aren't any bad ideas. My company is Level Up Events, LLC, and we run baseball tournaments. I want the logo to be simple, but unique. No generic bats, baseballs, etc., in the logo please. I kind of like the arrow used in the graph emoji on the iPhone, the red one that shows progress on the rise. I'd like to use a capital L with an arrow or like the stock market arrow projecting upwards. The word EVENTS doesn't need to be in the logo. I'd like to see a version like this LevelUP instead of LEVEL UP. You can use a darker blue and brighter yellow as well. The one I choose to use, I'll need it in a format to use for Instagram, Twitter, as well as for shirts/hats and sites. Sider is a local preprofessional development platform that allows students to gain work experience by helping small businesses through freelance projects! Small businesses have two never-ending lists: a to-do list and a wishlist. Sider was created to help knock out items on both of those lists that otherwise will get pushed aside due to cost or time requirements. Starting a restaurant, I didn't have the capital to hire the top tier professionals in the area, but I did have connections to the university. Our logos, interior design, and most content work was, and still is, done completely by students. Sider was founded to give both students and small business owners the tools to be successful. Through Sider, students can make 3D renderings for a new restaurant, help a non-profit with marketing efforts and grant writing, create video/photography content etc. The relationship is a win-win: businesses get quality work for below-market prices and students gain valuable work experience and portfolio work!

The Social Nest is a indoor/outdoor small venue location for daily/evening social gatherings. Women with stay at home businesses can use the space to meet their team and prospects. Hosting events for business or friendly gatherings, where otherwise you would use your home to entertain. This space is designed to feel like home, with outdoor arbors, fire pits and hanging lights. The space use to be a landscaping nursery, so the landscaping is beautiful, big magnolia tree out front. I envision a logo with a simple nest drawing from magnolia leaves.

Vicious Fishes Brewery is a craft brewery in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. In tandem with its 3rd location in Apex, NC, Vicious Fishes is spinning off a new concept focused on premium roasted coffee. In addition to our craft brews, we'll be pouring espresso and coffee drinks. We need a logo for this new coffee-oriented venture. The name of the coffee brand will be "Piranha Joe". In the future, we also intend to launch a distillery with a brand named "Vicious Spirits". We already have a strong logo concept for that business. The logos for Vicious Fishes Brewery and Vicious Spirits are attached to the contest. As can be seen from those two logos, the piranha is unmistakably the same, but have sufficient differences so that each has its own identity. They also share the same circle badge. We'd like to take a similar similar tack with Piranha Joe. Find also attached a rough logo we attempted for the brand, but are wanting to diverge from. We attempted to make the piranha appear as foam on top of an espresso drink. Unfortunately, we didn't have sufficient technical skill to make the piranha different enough from the one in the brewery's logo. Another thing we've decided we don't like is the brown-dominant color in the logo. We intend to create a variety of merchandise with the logo printed on it, including t-shirts, stickers, coffee tumblers, hats, etc. We realized late that brown doesn't really lend well to many colors of the merchandise we'd like to offer. We do like the notion that the piranha could be done as latte art. That might make the piranha sufficiently different from the brewery and distillery piranhas such that it would stand alone with its own identity. Our inclination is to go back to the black badge to keep the three brands under an umbrella, but could accept other colors given a compelling concept. In a nutshell, similar piranha, different enough to have its own identity. We think it would be best to avoid brown as a badge color as it may limit opportunities for printing on various merchandise colors.

South Shore Racing School is a sailing school that we're starting specifically for kids ages 10-18 that are passionate about the sport of sailing.
