Theme is that of an American colonial craftsman (like a blacksmith) so some red, white and blue but "patinaed" like how you would imagine a blacksmith shop in the 1770s.

As stated above, the theme is that of a colonial blacksmith shop from the 1770s, thus the name "The Carolina Signsmith". I'd like to incorporate a caricature of my son as "The Signsmith". He is handicapped in a wheelchair so I'd like this image to represent his inner tough, strong, able bodied self. You get the idea. Leather apron, hammer and anvil, forge, rolled up sleeves, sweatty muscular arms etc. I have attached a quick candid photo of him and can send more if needed. Again, it should be an artistic depiction of him such that his face is recognizable to those that know him but a representation of the touch bearded grizzly strong dude that lives inside of him.
Also, the word Signsmith should be sort of Old English Script. I know this is a lot but I will ultimately want more than just a simple logo so think of branding and a vehicle wrap and signage and graphics inside my shop. Rock this project and there will be more design work to follow.
