#5 Like this mix of creative style and simple typeface very much. Comments: as my logo would used mainly in print and presentations I want to ensure that my logo and it's text shows up clearly. Would be interested to see other slightly darker grey text and/or slightly bolder "marketing" font (although I do like the the different style to "Silver fern" and the more delicate font). Comment re. the fern frond. I like the "growth / movement" to this but wondered if there is a more stylised design that could be used as the lower part could be a little to complex. Love the curl at the top though I love the maori feel to this.

#4 I like the overall shape of this design. Very much a "mark" rather than a text lead outline.I like the text style modern and simple. The tone of the fonts is good - good standout. Not too sure on the brown tone to the green "fern" would be interested to see other tones. Would like to understand the "idea" behind the part circle. Certainly meets the brief of creative flourish and corporate professional. Fern design is good simple and stylised but would be interested in seeing it "closer" to text as it appears to sit on top rather than integrated.

#1 Whilst this is a nice design it looks a little too much like a snowflake or star (although I do understand it is showing five fern leaves). It also seems to distant from the text. Some use of ascent colour would be good to see. Font and design combine to make this a sharp logo....bit too much and could do with softening. This is probably more marked because the colours are a little cold.

#2 The colours used here are a little pale and could do with more standout. I don't like the "silver" font a little too casual for my corporate clients. Fern a little too complex and heading upwards - would have been good to see this bending to come back "towards" the company name.

#3 Similar to my comment for your other design. the use of black does give standout but too much and dominates. Particularly against the "silver" font colour meaning that this word gets lost.

As this is my first experience with this program -Logo Tournament, I am finding it tricky to carry my color choice to the contest page...seems to change quite a bit, en-route!

If you are working in CMYK, which you should b e for any design work...you should save from your software as rgb then upload.

you will also find there is a compression ratio set for all uploaded images...and we all know what that means. loss of both color and quality (artifacts)

hope this helps
