The fern in silver over a rich green circle gives a nice contrast to make the fern really stand out. And the circle is a practical shape to work with for web or icons promotional print etc. The solid, trustworthy type is strong and yet sleek, giving a sense of "can do" and creativity.

A rich blue makes the metallic fern really come to life - it's smart, modern, a bit edgy and corporate at the same time. Confident.

#92 Hello, really like this and agree with your comments. Only thought is whether it is a little too modern for my client base. I will give this some thought. I am not a fan of the wet floor so would love to see the logo without this and also bring "marketing" out a little in terms of size/boldness of text. Thank-you for your response to my brief really like your work. Caroline

Revision of version #92. More concepts to come, however I wanted to refine this one for starters.
The Marketing feels more integrated now.

By taking the green background from the icon we are left with what is a very nice circle with fern motif - it's a solid shape so would be perfect for any application - print, web, promotional items (engraved on giveaway USB sticks - anything!).

This is another variation of fine-tuning the earlier design.

Fern size increased in the circle - it communicates the fern visual quicker - less "stem" seems to work better.

Marketing - I've experimented with this a lot and this spaced out version is working well in my opinion. It's balanced with the line above. If 'marketing' is any bolder it starts to fight with 'silverfern' and the equilibrium of the 3 elements is lost. In this design this is the case anyway. That's why I'd made 'marketing' shorter in the earlier versions - because it's the bold weight, and visually it was balancing with the silverfern.

Hope that's not too much waffle!! Make sense? :)

New font to give it a different look altogether.
Thicker silver border on circle to balance with the type.

Variation on shape of icon, maybe more modern, and small type variations - as another option. The icon shape could lend itself to other things such as website graphics, print themes.

Stacked format - this shaped icon works well above the text also.
