#32 Hello, I think this is great. I like the simplicity of the lettering but with the duo tone to add interest. I like the use of fonts and the balance of the lettering. The fern logo is clean but I can't quite see if the tone changes in the circle change in sections or are merged. Sorry I am sure there is a technical term! Only thing I would like removed is the wet floor under the fern logo. Great work thank-you for responding to my brief. Best wishes Caroline
#50 shows the logo with the reflection removed and #51 is an enlarged view of the fern logo. The green is a smooth gradient from light to dark green with a translucent white circle overlayed near the top. The white accent circle suggests the sun and also ties the style in with the two-tone of the letters. I would be happy to make any other modifications that you would like to see or try out!
Thanks Jason for responding to my comments so quickly, only thing i would like to see is to try out the "marketing" in the darker grey tone...thank-you
#52. Hello Jason, I think I prefer this darker version. Just a couple of further version requests. Would like to see it in a monochrome version, to see how it works in the press or b/w print out please. Plus the fern "badge" which I know you put in for information only I would love to see how it works as a standalone "mark" maybe with the introduction of a little silver. Thank-you very much Caroline
Caroline, #78 - logo converted to grayscale. This was a straightforward conversion without any adjustment. If you like, I can submit another version that uses some deeper grays and/or black to create more contrast (I can provide all of these versions if selected as the winner)
#79 - All black version (fax cover sheets, invoices, etc.)
#81 and #82 - Two versions of the standalone mark. If you like, I can try to incorporate an "S" and "F" into one of these (I think it depends on your planned use for the mark style).
Thank-you for this Jason, design will obviously work in monochrome although I agree that grey / black stronger tone would probably be best option. Thank-you very much for your time on this.
Here's a black and white version with a stronger contrast. Since there's still 2 more days in your contest, feel free to throw any more ideas/experiments at me. I see it as I'm still "on the clock" until your contest ends!
