#4 and #5 are definitely more in line with what we are expecting for a logo.

#2 the problem with that design is cutting the slogan in two parts due to the extended X, your #1 logo was a better shot.

#3. Nice, the only problem is the design before "Nexwave" those little waves are simple enough to not give a unique feel to the logo. I've seen similar things too often.

Logos ranked #1 to #5 have great designs, good inspiration and very much in the line of logo we are looking for.
Logos #2 and #5 are a bit too dark. The primary use for the logo will be the company website and we want to avoid having a dark color palette.

Great work everyone, the recent logos are very nice!

VALUABLE FEEDBACK for the DESIGNERS:
We realized what gave #2 a head-start over the other designs: dnk added a small shadow under his design, giving it a simple perspective effect. We love that.
But don't go overboard with the perspective, for example #22 put too much 3D.

The colors of #25 are perfect

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

We have been seeing many logo's which had the "abstract mark" on top of the company name and slogan, and those logos haven't been ranked because we feel that it makes for a bulky logo...

We see Nexwave as an IT service provider for small businesses and our mission is to make small businesses improve and become more competitive. Keeping that in mind, we would like to see designs with a feel of progression and improvement. Because that is what Nexwave will be all about: Improving our client's business.

We've seen many "funky" designs, which are all great. But in the end we would like to see designs that are in the line of:
"Business"
"Corporate"
"Information Technologies"
