Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Thanks everyone for your entries. We are going to post detailed comments on each logo. If you can't see comments on the other logos and would like to, let us know and we'll reproduce them for you
Hi everyone - thanks very much for your first entries. We very much appreciate your efforts. There are things that we like about each one, and so we thought we'd give some overall feedback here.
- We like the font, colors, simplicity, and classic look of entry #4 - We like the concept of the abstract golf figure of #7 - We like the "bouncing ball" concept of #5, and are also intrigued by the golf scoring concept (though not quite sure how we will end up coming out on it) - We like the golfer figure of #13 - We like the the attempt to integrate the figure into the logo in #15 - We like the positioning of the abstract figure in #8 - We like the way you've slightly capitalized the M and the S in #10
We're happy to give more feedback on each logo individually - just post a comment on it with any questions you have. Keep up the great work! -Jack & Tom
We wanted to thank everyone for their efforts and for their entries. We've been very pleased with the output of this 'tournament'. We are going to take our top ranked entries and solicit feedback from a few of our customers. We'll get back to everyone with a winner in 2-3 days. Thanks very much!
I would assume most people would create their own. I actually love drawing my own images if needed, its part of the enjoyment. Otherwise you know its not 100% your own.
Okay, thanks for responding. For me, that level of drawing is beyond the scope of this price range, so I wanted to get a sense of what others were doing.
Thanks to everyone for their efforts and their logos. Over the past few days we surveyed a large number of our users about their preferences among our top-ranked logos. Interestingly enough, the majority came back and chose entry #86 as their favorite. For us, our customers have the final say, and so we have declared zrox's design the winner. That said, there are a number of designs that we personally find very actractive, and look forward to working with those designers in future.
