Color Preferences
The logo will be printed on the nailpolish flask (bottle) that can contain all sorts of colors. I suggest to use white, silver, black and so on. No hard rules here, just make it work on multiple color background that are custom in nailpolish (pink, red, copper, brown, purple, orange, yellow, blue). For low contrast colors we will need an inverted or different color scheme perhaps.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Currently we are working with a structure to fit on a bottle like this:
LONG
TO (or 2)
TOUCH

But that's hardly a given.

Hi folks,

To all I would like to suggest to look for a visual trademark that expresses touch (in the sense of on a touch screen) without using a litteral finger or nail itself. I have the feeling that such a trademark may be very powerful once found.

Is it do-able?

Kind regards,

Rutger

What these brands have in common is that they are really feminin. That is certainly one of the things we are looking for as well.

If you feel that the appeal of your logo is increased by designing it on a bottle, feel free to design the bottle as well.

The different designs I've received are not always easy to compare, since they are very different. Which of course is very exciting. I does help me figure out why I love certain logo's and what the things are I'm appreciating. Here's a list of things I like most about certain designs:

1. Some are very recognisable from a distance. In most occasions the trademark pull the attention from the customer. Imagine someone looking at the counter with 20 different nail polish brands. If there is something that makes the logo stand out, that is something I value a great deal.

2. Some logo's are very elegant and feminin. Typically because of the use of light-weight typography. This however may contradict with the first point of being recognisable.

3. Some logo's have an organic element to it (handwritten or better even when it looses the feeling of being a font). I think that it could be a branding element our customers connect with.

Now how do we combine those insights into one logo?

Kind regards,

Rutger

Thanks guys for the wonderful designs. I'll have the best few tested by a 600 person strong panel and let you know which one is the winner.

I am very happy with the different results. I'm sure we're going to be successful with winning pick.

We'll be in touch soon.
