We really like the angle you are taking with your logo. I particularly like the clean font and the accent on the word TOUCH. Also I like that the iconography is in function of the logo as a whole. Although your other logo has less of that. What I am looking for is the appliance on a bottle. So the orientation is important. This logo needs to go vertically on a bottle as you have designed it. The color of the nail will likely be a lot like the color in the bottle as most nailpolishes are pink or red. Can you try to handle the logo on a pink background? Last suggestion that I have is that straight line has no function. Is it really needed? Or can you give it a function?
I feel the white background has (a lot) ore power then the pink one. I'm thinking we shall use a white nailpolish bottle with the nail you are using in the color of the nailpolish coating. Together with the bottle cap.
I think I like it without the line. Can you experiment with the concept some more? It's a strong start.
Hi again Rutger, sorry i have not uploaded again yet, have not had much time at my PC. Im hoping for more time later, so ill get on with adding a few more designs for you later :)
Both my business companion and I really loved your first logo right from the bat. We would definately like to keep working towards our final logo with you. Hope you can find the time ;)
Hi again Rutger, things have not gone to plan so unfortunately my times been limited again. I got a full night tonight on my PC though (woop woop). I have a question or two for you. Is the shape of the design OK on the design #3 , and also, are you interested in some handwritten (slight graffiti style maybe too) for the font of touch, are we still interested in the finger nail in the text ?? Thanks Rutger for any response, but it will aid me massively at the minute :)
I would like to move away from the use of a litteral finger or nail in the logo as it will be on a bottle of nail polish and we risk stating the obvious. It may be really nice to see a logo where there is a trademark that expresses touch. A fingerprint is not what I'm looking for either because it expresses something like greasy fingers or a nail that has been touched before the coating dried up. So maybe something else?
I really like the lightweight and stylish feeling of the logo you've made. Some fonts I've seen so far are too musculan, but you seem to understand very well we're making this for women.
Your idea of a mixing stylish fonts with graffiti like fonts really appeals to me. It may bring the whole thing to life. Right now the logo's I received so far feel a bit distant (or straight forward) if you know what I mean.
Your current logo is really stylish, but maybe you can find a way to produce a logo that is a bit more 'alive' and 'out there'.
Looking forward to your work. I've checked your portfolio and like what you are doing for others too!
Thanks for the latest designs. There is a lot of variation on this theme going on right now between designers. What I like about your highest ranking design is the fact that it is femin and organic. I would love for you to pursue that logo and make it stand out a bit more. Also you are the one designer that leaves the number 2 alone and that is good. I'd rather have a strong logo without the number 2, although it can be very recognisable. If we can keep the (or increase) organic feeling and maybe add a touch or digital sentiment to it, then I think you may very well have the winner on your hands.
A theme that I think may combine well is the 'ON' trademark (circle with a pipe running into it) and the organics in your logo.
So, don't stray too much from design #26, but dive into the posibilities of that logo. You are definitely on the right track there.
Hi Rutger, ive been banging my head trying on this, and to tell you the truth ive been doing bad !! Im still here and still thinking mate, im sure somethings gonna come to me soon...
