~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.

~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for the Designers' hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Some general comments so far - we like the clean look of #4, but are interested in more logos that combine the iconic L with the word Lateral, like #5.

Also curious what lowercase or cursive font might look like somewhere.

Ignore the call for a cursive L, realize that it looks too feminine (you all probably knew that, but thanks for letting us see it).

Interested in seeing a few more designs where the word Lateral would be able to standalone by itself, like Netflix, FedEx, or Google.

Also interested in variations on boxed or circular outlines.

"Lateral Sports" has a dual meaning, and we were wondering if anyone could design a logo that incorporates that dual meaning.

Lateral Sports will serve to redirect internet traffic and search queries to other websites. A "lateral" in the sports sense is a pitch or toss to another teammate.

So in essence, "Lateral Sports" will serve to "lateral" users to the sites they are actually looking for.

And any logo that has the words "Lateral Sports" written on the same line (horizontally or linear) would be something we are interested in seeing.

Nearly all the submitted logos and designs are motivating, unique, applicable and usable. Another possible option would be that since the word "LATERAL" starts with "LA" and ends in "AL", and since "E" is the center letter, we were wondering whether the "T" and "R" could be depicted such that the word "LATERAL" appears like half-way through it changes and is written backwards.
That forward-to-backward appearance of "LATERAL" would tie into the theme of the site as well-
