Blue Jet,

Really like the Font and Color selection of your logo. We are moving away a little bit from the emphasis on a stand alone icon, and focusing more on a logo that incorporates the word "lateral" with some design elements.
The features of your stand alone con (the arches and swoops) is the style we are looking for in or around the word "lateral".
Hope that makes a bit of sense-

#143 is clean, professional, modern, and unique. We like all those components.

We're not sure if it's possible, but a similar logo with the arches, swoops, and shadow elements tied in a bit to the wording "Lateral", possibly even crossing through the logo, or tied in to a letter (possibly but not necessarily the initial "L") could serve to tie in both the letters and the accent characters into one full self-contained logo.

Thanks for the new designs. Like the feel of these, but feel like some of the emphasis is taken away from the words - looking for the words to be more of a focal point on their own without having to rely on embellishments to recognize it as the logo.

Let us know if that doesn't make sense,
