Color Preferences
We are going to leave the color choices to the designer. We have no immediate color choices in mind other than those typically found in gaming logos.

We are open to gradients, but please be subtle with them - we don't want the logo to rely too heavily on gradients. We want this logo to be easily printed on shirts, hats, web, print, stickers and everything in between so please be sure that the logo looks good with solid colors too!
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We want to leave the design ideas and concepts up to the designers, WE WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN! However, we definitely do NOT want to see overly used concepts, half-moons, and swooshes. We believe these are overly used in the logo industry and we want to set ourselves apart from all the rest.

It would be really cool to have some kind of intelligent / hidden design implemented into the logo. For example, the FedEX logo has an arrow in it which means "moving forward". This doesn't mean we have to have an arrow - we are saying this to give you an idea of what "hidden design" is.

Hi designers! Just want to throw this out there... Clues for what keywords describe what we're looking for: hyper, crazy, wicked fast, razor sharp, elite gaming, expensive, luxurious, like no other, one of a kind, etc.

We are now open to gradient designs, but please use them sparingly and keep in mind that we want to use this logo on both light, grey, and dark colored backgrounds - including shirts, hats, stickers, web, print, etc. The logo needs to be able to be printed in solid white, solid black, and other solid colors and still look good :)

Hi designers! After many submission reviews, we're trying to help get the designs along our line of thinking... We want to focus more on the word "HYPER" than we do the word "NORTHWEST". Specifically, logo's that show a fantastic gaming logo mark above the word "HYPER" and below that, in much smaller text, the word "NORTHWEST" is more like what we want to see.

Basically, we want the wow factor to be in the following order:
1.) The logo mark
2.) The word HYPER
3.) subtle addition of the word "NORTHWEST" below "HYPER"

Hi designers!

We have a lot of submissions that are trying to make the logo mark point to the northwest. This is NOT what we want. We want the logo mark to be a standalone mark that brands our business - not the direction we do business in.

Any submissions with arrows pointing in the northwest will likely be put in the "not interested" pile of images (just to make sure everyone is aware!)

Hi designers!

Some more information to help: The logo mark does NOT have to be our initials either. We want the logo mark to BRAND our business, and it doesn't have to be our initials. I hope this makes sense?
