Gaia Guide is a new online field guide to all living species in the world that provides Wikipedia-like editing capabilities so that anyone in the world can add text or images to improve the quality of the species descriptions.

Green, Blue being the majority of the colour.
Other colours referencing the visual highlights of the natural world.

The logo image might draw on the equipment used by people that are actively engaged in nature watching, such as binoculars, cameras, hiking boots, etc. It would be used for things like the touch graphic on smart phones etc.

Alternatively it might be like the world wildlife fund Panda logo, using one or a few species to represent key wildlife classes (birds, reptiles, trees, mammals).

Alternatively it might incorporate a representation of Gaia, the personification of Earth in Greek mythology.

The style of the logo picture should be more abstract than realistic.

The picture and the logo text should be usable on their own or together.

They need to be able to be recognisable when used on mobile platforms like phone apps.
