earth tones are preferred with small amounts of brighter color to help it pop. We feel the color scheme can be changed easily once the design is complete. However, no neon or fluorescent.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The logo can be just text with some sort of banding but we like the idea of bringing in a visual or visuals that reflect our business and the community. An example might be the outline of a Fort, since Fort Street Station is on Fort Street and blocks away from where the original Fort Boise was located. The original fort was a base for military operations and provided refuge to pioneers during the days of the Oregon Trail. Our name reflects the Fort and the Station reflects where the pioneers would stop and rest during their months long journey across the US.

For a different visual concept we are in a community situated at the base of a local mountain range with numerous outdoor activities including biking, hiking and skiing all within minutes from your home. But again we want to bring back the rest and refuel concept of the "station".

Great logo's so far, thanks for submitting. I'm seeing a trend in forts reflecting a medieval feeling in their appearance vs. a western frontier appearance. I'd rather see the frontier appearance in our logo. Thanks again.

Just wanted to let everyone know I've really appreciated the process and all the creative ideas submitted. Regardless or your logo being selected it has been a lot of fun looking and commenting on all the logos. Thank you everyone.

Again, this has been a great experience, thank you all for participating. I've not done this before so my "blind" ends tomorrow mid morning. I'll not have much of an opportunity to review, rank and comment after 6:30 AM MST so if you have a last push get it in after that probably SOL. If you don't ever hear from me again, take my thanks away and appreciation for your talents, there was not a logo I thought was bad. Please stop by the Fort Street Station in Boise Idaho if you are ever there. Thanks so much. Rick
