What We Do
We are a dental office in the Green Bay, WI, area that offers full family dental services. Our target audience is everyone, but we are specifically trying to market to young families, mothers, and more affluent individuals looking for higher end dental services and procedures.

Color Preferences
Our old logo incorporated a royal blue, a lighter blue, grey, and a marigold/orangish yellow. I'll be attaching that old logo as a file. We don't have to stick to those colors, but we definitely want to see a logo with blues and greys/silvers with a possible additional accent color — options there are greens and yellows. PLEASE DO NOT USE REDS.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please note: Our owner does not want any logo concepts featuring tooth outlines/shapes (only smiles), and he would like all three words in the name Bay Park Smiles to appear the same size. There cannot be very fine detail on this logo because it will need to transfer well to embroidered clothing and small print jobs. Our old logo incorporated a brushstroke look. Having that continue with our new name might provide nice continuity, but our worry is that the fine detail of a brushstroke design element won't translate well to small print jobs and clothing. Feel free to explore a lot of concepts — as long as the concept feels professional, fresh, and welcoming. We want to attract more affluent patients for our high end services, so we'd like the logo to feel slightly upscale/high end. But we'd also like it to feel like a dental office destination for families. Natural elements (water, trees, etc.) can be incorporated, but we'd like to focus on the smile shape and seamlessly integrating that into our name. We do not want the smile to feel too juvenile or playful — we're not looking for a cartoonish logo. Some adjectives we'd like for this logo to feel like: professional, stable, luxurious, friendly, inviting, trustworthy, accomplished. Thanks for all your ideas!

I'm sorry I was unable to rank all of the logos in the inbox. I have a very busy week, and I've just been falling asleep at the keyboard. I will have the rest ranked with feedback tomorrow. Please do not withdraw any designs, since most of these have not been looked at by the owner yet. Thanks!

Just a quick note to everyone: My ranking of logos does not necessarily reflect the thoughts of our owner. He will often like logos that I've ranked lower than 100 on our list. PLEASE DO NOT WITHDRAW ANY LOGOS THAT ARE CURRENTLY IN THE RANKINGS, AS THIS RANKING WILL CHANGE DRAMATICALLY ONCE I HAVE THE OWNER'S FEEDBACK. Thanks for your understanding and all the hard work you've put into this tournament.

I had much more on my plate today than expected, so I was unable to rank as many of the awaiting logo designs as I'd like. Please understand that this weekend is the first time I will be able to get feedback from our owner on these designs, so no one is out of the running in this logo contest (and there might be very different creative direction coming in). I will try to be as involved as I can this weekend. Thank you again for all your work!

To everyone who has submitted designs, please be aware that our owner has still not yet been able to give feedback, which means that anyone who is ranked or awaiting ranking is in the mix for our favorite logo design. Please do not withdraw any designs yet, especially those that are ranked. Thanks for your time, and be expecting to see significant changes in ranking and possibly artistic direction in the next 24 hours. Thank you again for all your work!

I don’t think anyone runs logo tournaments quite the way I do: I spend a great deal of time simply trying to comment on as many logos as possible during the blind phase, only sending to “not interested” those logos I know our owner will disapprove of for various reasons. Once the blind phase ends, our owner looks over all the ranked designs and highlights directions for designers to go and which designs he’s most fond of. Those could be from any ranking that I’ve created. I’ve seen our owner select designs from the bottom quarter of rankings that eventually become the winner. I will not have feedback from our owner till tomorrow, so please do not withdraw any designs until I’ve consulted with him. Perhaps this system is not conducive to your creativity, but it is the way we’re forced to work. I appreciate your understanding and all the work you’ve put in. -Ian

As I receive feedback from our owner, I will keep moving various artists into the top spot for final adjustments/changes to logo designs. Please know that if you're still ranked, you still have a chance to win this tournament. Thank you for not withdrawing any designs at this point, even if you find yourself ranked well outside of the top 100 designs. Thank you so much, again, for all your work!

I wanted to pass along that I reached out to the Logo Tournament support team to request that this tournament move back to the Finalist Phase to allow some of our stakeholders who were unable to weigh in on designs to provide their feedback. Thank you for your understanding, and please be aware that we'll be moving multiple designers into the top spots over the coming days. Please do not withdraw any designs that are currently ranked or yet to be ranked, as there are many that are in contention for the top design. Again, thank you for all your work!

I wanted to check in to let everyone know that I had not fallen off the face of the earth — some familial obligations kept me away for the last couple of days. Thank you for your understanding. I will be meeting with the owner of the office over the next couple of days and responding with some more targeted feedback for designers. Thank you to all who have contributed and stuck through this process.
