I think I prefer the all caps. As I'm looking at the design again, I'm wondering if there isn't an opportunity to use the initials of the office in the shape of the sails: I'll try to use the markup tools to show what I'm thinking. Basically the "B" can be formed with the negative/white space around the left sail, and perhaps the right sail can be tweaked a bit to look more like a "P"
You might've noticed that they've allowed this tournament to go back to the Finalist Stage. If there are any new ideas or further variations you can make on this design currently in the top 5 we'd appreciate it. We want to give a number of designers a chance to improve upon the designs we like the most. Thanks for all your work!
We really like the work you've done. We are trying to move some other designers into the top 5 spots for further revisions. Please do not withdraw your designs or take this to mean we no longer have interest in them.
I'm sorry I pulled it because this morning I saw that I didn't make it to the final round, please leave a comment so my design can be close to what you're looking for
I will have more feedback shortly. You are one of our five finalists currently. Please consider reactivating your designs, since our owner has not yet weighed in
I'm not able to constantly update our rankings, so some designs slipped in ahead of you inadvertently moving you down the list. This is one of our five favorite designs right now, so we'd appreciate you reinstating.
I like what's happening with the font and the colors. I just don't feel that the repeated smiles in the "A"s is as impactful as we want it to be. Perhaps one smile that crosses both "A"s would be more visually engaging?
I think this would work better if the yellow smile actually did intersect the "A"s and formed their crossbars, making the "A" frame look more like the corners of the smile
I don't think the sunrise works as well in this image. In general, as a dental office, we want to avoid sharp blade-like or needle-like imagery in the logo.
The owner has voiced that he is not looking for the initials of the office to form a major logo element, apart from more abstract or creative approach to their use.
Like where you're going with this. Can you possibly design this in such a way that the smile shape actually crosses through the A's and acts as their cross stroke?
That's a very engaging logo to look at. The problem I see is that the initials/pyramid looks a little too sharp and aggressive: as a dental office, we always try to avoid branding the is suggestive of blades or sharp points, etc.
