Blue (sky/sea), Yellow (sun), are other colours that can reflect Barcelona influence . Our Ideas & Additional Information 1. Designs should explore how Barcelona Housing Systems can be shortened –acronym, portmanteau/blend, etc. 2. It is not necessary to include the slogan with the logo mark. 3. A couple of thoughts that I wanted to share with everyone. The large scale housing that Barcelona Housing Systems builds is multi-unit, mid-rise (4 levels) developments. What makes what we do special is as much about the planning aspect of the community, as it is about the house. Net, logos that feature a traditional looking home are not representative of what we do.In addition, many of these developments will be established in relatively warm climates, and as such, we don't want the logos to use a palette that is too warm or hot (i.e not a lot of reds). Many of these locations won't have traditional cityscapes either, so the use of skylines in the logo (which also signal high rise versus mid-rise) is also not desired.I'll try to give more specific feedback to each of the participating designers. Thanks again for helping us with our logo!Barcelona Housing Systems 12 years ago bhsystems Client Hello All,What a great body of work overall. We're feeling very good about where we're going. Seeing all of these great ideas has sparked a couple of thoughts with our team. The first is that we're less about the house itself, and perhaps more about the community plans which are built on the Barcelona grid system. One of the things that makes the Barcelona grid system unique is the 45º angles on the corners of each block. Basically you have a block of buildings - they surround an inner courtyard, and each exterior corner is cut at 45º versus creating a 90º angle. Some of the logos reminded us of this grid system, and we would like to explore it more. The second piece of group feedback is that we are gravitating toward simplicity.Looking forward to see where this goes. Thanks again for all of your great thinking.Barcelona Housing Systems 12 years ago vicvic Logo Designer xxxx 12 years ago
