We really like your designs, but wanted to share the feedback that entries 28 and 29 will not be ranked high due to the fact that a skyline is not really indicative of what we do - you can see our general feedback to all designers added earlier today.
We like the direction you are exploring in 26 and 27. We particularly like your use of type across all 4 logos. The color palette in 26 and 27 is also closer to where we see ourselves ending up, although a less primary, and cooler palette is also something we are looking to explore.
I think we were leaving our first comment when you posted your two new designs, which by the way, look fantastic. I think your color palette is good, and I really like the way you created the mark.
The one caveat, is that it feels a bit too much like single family housing. If you look at my note to everyone participating in the contest, this is something that we want to steer away from. Perhaps there is a way to take what you're doing with 40 and 41 and apply it to something that better depicts our housing solution.

We definitely very much like the body of work you've created for our logo. A few thoughts that will help guide you during this next round.
The first is that in hindsight the palette you used 104 et. al is actually closer the color palette that we would like to be exploring for our logo. That doesn't come through in our rankings, but definitely feel like the palette you used their was closest to where our heads currently are. Those logos, including 28, 29 were not chosen because we definitely do not want to be exploring ideas that reference skylines and high-rises.
If you take the palette of those designs, and combine it with some of the more abstract paths you pursued, it would definitely strengthen your entries.
Two additional thoughts on your entries that were ranked relatively high. First, your design in 26th, hinted at the Barcelona grid we are now really keen on exploring. I realize that was not your inspiration, but the non square corners of this design reminded us of the 45ยบ corners seen in Barcelona.
Second, some of our team really sparked to your design #40. They like the repetition, they thought it communicated global, etc. The reason it didn't do better is because the repetition is of an image of a single family house. If you were able to achieve a similar effect, but not have it be based on a traditional home, this could be very strong.
Do you think you are going to be able to devote any more thinking on this contest? We are considering moving another designer into the top 5 if you are not going to be able to address the feedback. Please let us know and we will plan accordingly.
