Air RepublicaLogo Design Contest

Please read through the CONTEST ATTACHMENTS including the document MUST READ. You will note that the pictorial logo is what is important here and that the titling is not part of the required logo design at this time. The attachments describe in great detail the requirements for this design which are very specific. Contestants need to be very aware of what the design requires.

Fantastic work from all the artists who have submitted. I thank you all for your efforts and i'm very excited to see where we go in the next few days!

I want to talk about visualisation. First of all, let me say a great big thanks to the many artists who have submitted wonderful work, really very well done! Second, I want you to think about colour and light and the way the logo, colours and titling will all integrate and display in different light conditions. This is very tricky indeed. Look at the blank livery B744 in the contest attachments and visualise how your design will present itself in this type of light. In the end, how the design looks on the aircraft will be perhaps the most important factor in choosing a final design.

Welcome to a new day. Thanks to all for their hard work and persistence. Everyone has done a great job !! This is not an easy one at all, believe me, I know! I have set very rigid constraints and design parameters here, and you all know the story so far, but today let's do something different, let's remove ALL CONSTRAINTS and say, do your thing, go for it, let's see what happens!!!! LT doesn't allow any object as the background and it will be a violation. FYI, LT always using clean portfolio...

I am not requesting any logo to be put against any background. I am asking designers too look at the attachments purely as a visual guide / help to them in understanding what the design will be used for.
There is no violation here at all.

Almost 12 hours to go before the start of the Top 5 phase. Once again, a great big thanks to everyone who submitted, to all the hard work that's been put into this, I have to say I have been so impressed by the quality of work and effort and to all those out there who have worked so hard, I say chapeaux !!! 12 hours to go, and I wonder if there's going to be a twist in this particular airline's tail ?

Just two hours to go and the runway lights are fully lit up. THIS flight will arrive on time! This has been a fantastic experience, exhausting, intense, but quite incredible. I doff my cap to all of you out there, who have shared your immense talent and creativity with me over these past days, well done! It's been my pleasure to work with you and I hope I've given you a real challenge!

Thanks to LOGOTOURNAMENT! I have to say, they have really put together a fantastic concept here, I was very sceptical when I first heard about it but having taken the plunge, I've been overwhelmed by the quality and value I have received. Well done LT and well done to all of you!
