Open to most colors but darker colors for lettering preferred (dark green blue or grey most promising).
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The current consulting company: www.witcreek.com - this logo is NOT the basis for our new logo - I was never really happy with how this turned out.
I would be interested in seeing what can be done with making the R in WIT CREEK into an abstract "stream" or "creek" though I am open to plenty of other ideas as well.
I am open to marks which are just lettering or marks with a symbol or emblem with them but an not enthusiastic about emblems that incorporate the name in them.

While all the entries so far are derived from my suggestion of an abstracted R in CREEK, and they are starting to get interesting, I am open to other designs as well including those where the letters are simple and formal and other elements lend distinction.

I am glad to see some variety in the designs and appreciate the efforts of the participating designers so far. I was hoping I would not have to extend the contest but I am not seeing a winner yet. I know things pick up towards the end so I hope that happens and we can close the contest on Friday.
The "creek" visual seems to be working better in the W, a circle, than in the R, so my suggestion did not seem to have been very useful.
Subtle, quiet, dark blue/grey seems to be working but I am still open to other ideas and color schemes.
Keep up the good work and I hope we can see a winner in a couple days.

Thanks for all the new entries - very nice selection of designs. I appreciate that "Wit" and "Creek" are differentiated by capitals or large caps versus small caps for many of the new entries which I generally like, but I would also like to see a little space between the words as well - it doesn't have to be a lot, but some separation.

Now it is crunch time on the contest. I love all the new entries but some pervious designs remain very solid contenders. There are now enough logos we would love to have that the contest will conclude today and not be extended. Things got off to a very slow start but I am really pleased by the creativity I have seen the last couple days.

I am in transit the next 40 minutes and will try to do one more ranking before the contest ends.

Wow! Top 10 designers please stand by - we are going to need a day or two to finalize judging. I will try to get comments to all of you ASAP.

To be honest, this contest started so slowly that I was worried about whether we would see the breadth of creativity and quality of designs I was looking for but I am not disappointed at all. Thanks to all of you incredibly talented and imaginative designers who participated.

Current rankings are for my convenience only as I want to look at a variety of designs alongside one another easily. These will not be the final rankings as I wish already I could have 4 winning designers. The top 4 I have asked to provide additional designs will be the top 4 positions at the end of the contest.

I apologize for the delays. This was a lot harder to decide on a winner than I ever imagined. Our favorite 4 designers all did a fantastic job and I wish I could name four winners. In addition, there are dozens of other designs that are also fantastic and any one of them would be great too. Thanks to all of you for a fantastic contest and for such a variety of great work to choose from.
