Wow - these are beautiful logos! I like them a lot! The only problem is I am not sure they are right for my business which probably requires a more formal logo. If I was a law firm in Wyoming, you would have a winner here! I will ask some other people for their opinion though - you could find yourself climbing in the rankings today.
I like that your fonts are more distinctive than the rest. If I get some good ideas on my own or from my colleagues, I'll put you in #1 for awhile to see what you can come up with.
In the morning US Pacific time, I will give you a chance at the number 1 position for a day in case you have any variations you would like to show me. I don't have much specifically to suggest. What I am hearing from colleagues is your design is great for a slightly less formal endeavor than this business. That's why some of the other designs are being favored. More contrast in the design elements, particularly when the logo is seen in black and white is why #118 is currently favored. One suggestion I heard from one colleague was to try some of the colors favored in other designs. They are not sure that will help and I doubt it. I think your colors are pretty good. Anyway, I'll give you the spot tomorrow and good luck!
Hello! Thanks for the chance you'll give to me. I do have few variations and new ideas to submit but it would be great if you give me your thoughts too. Colors variations was already in my mind. I'm ready and waiting for your mark... Thanks again. Alexander
I can't believe how fast you cranked out some really exciting new designs, not just variations on the leader. The WC in #221 really works. It is dangerous since WC in England is bathroom. I wonder if it would work better if the letters were similarly tapered at the ends rather than the contrast with the square ends on the "C"? I asked another designer to do this same thing, but what would it look like to move the top half of the design off to the left or right of the bottom by 25% or so? The impression should convey partners putting the pieces together and the negative space should still form a "W"
"I wonder if it would work better if the letters were similarly tapered at the ends rather than the contrast with the square ends on the "C"?" Will work the other request... Thanks
It is fascinating to see that new design, #229 and #230 with the W and C. It is a great idea but has a little bit of a crab claw or pincers to the C - I admit it was my idea to taper the C ends. I like how you are trying to do it a little more subtly in #228. Still have not seen if you were going to attempt the suggestion of moving the top half of the design off to the left or right of the bottom by 25% or so? The impression should convey partners putting the pieces together and the negative space should still form a "W". Did you try this and it didn't look good?
Will do the design you suggested but now it's 1.30 in the morning here in Greece! So if I have the chance to do it tomorrow, would be great. Sorry for that... Thanks and hope see you tomorrow.
I was not clear enough on which design I meant to apply moving the top half of the design off to the left or right of the bottom half by 25% or so. This was supposed to apply to the square symbols like #223, #118. The impression should convey partners putting the pieces together and the negative (white) space in between the two halves should still form a "W". Sorry that I sent you in the wrong direction splitting the initials instead. That did not accomplish what I was thinking of.
So the idea is that in #223 there is already a split of the framed square design which is bisected by the white "W" shape angling up through the design. If you think of the "W" as the white space created by tearing the two halves apart, then the top half (upper left corner) and the bottom half (lower right corner) could be displaced horizontally from one another by moving the upper left corner left a small amount.
I won't be surprised if after all this, it probably won't end up looking that great anyway. None of my other suggestions have really panned out. I am sure everyone is ready for this contest to end.
Thank God!!! Finally I understood!!!! Sorry for all this time you lost to make me understand what you were saying..... My English not so good.... Thanks.
