Color Preferences
The colors of plants, especially flowers are intense and rich with vibrant hues. I love the deep intensity of flowers, the purples, blues, and oranges...even the purples, reds, and pinks excite my spirit and imagination.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I would like the symbology to be representative of the Phoenix rising. See link: www.tribalhollywood.com/Detail.bok?no=170 There you will find a picture of a phoenix in a bowl and the fire of transformation behind it. Look at the flower and exotic tea websites. See the Mighty Leaf Tea Company's website. For example, flax flowers are a purple blue, hibiscus flowers are deep blood red etc.

No. I actually should seperate the company names from the product name. Thanks for asking.

"Vision's Sown"?

Vision's Sown...I see ancient grains, medicinal plants, unrefined sugars, hand harvested volcanic and sea salts and my "visions" and imagination of what these ancient foods could become takes over....then I sow what I envision by experimental baking until I come up with breathtakingly indulgent, healthy bakery products. In the end I have taken my vision's about ancient foods, what I imagine indigenous cultures would have used them for and sow (Like sowing seeds in a field for planting/growing) what is harvested in the end are newly re-imagined bakery products. An Egyptian word for my bakery products would be, Bennu amen - Hidden cakes and loaves...

So. "Vision's Sown". How do you see this integrating with the logos of individual products? Will Vision's Sown be the primary image, setting an overall look, or will it be subordinate to the logos developed for your individual products? I ask that because you have so many words associated with your sample product. When I look at a package of Mother Nut's Ancient Almond Butter Cookies, what do I see first?

Saturninus, I like your questions and will think about them for a few hours and post a response this evening. Right off the bat, I keep thinking about the ancient symbology of Egypt, the flax flower primarily. My last business card had a purple blue flax flower and nothing else...it caused quite a sitr when given and associated with baking made people stop and think...then I would give tasty product samples...must run out for a moment...more to follow...

Hi Logo Design Community,

So far this has been a very exciting process for me. I have really come to enjoy the dialog I am having with the design community. As my contest nears an end I have one final question and some last minute ideas. How can the designs become more "ancient" anchored? These specialty bakery products that were born from research on ancient cultures foodways, Egypt specifically. I like to think that I went on an archaeological dig and came across the hidden formulas and recipes cherished by the bakers of the pharoahs, kings and queens of ancient empires. I think the winning design will be the one that conveys the ancient kitchen, ancient baking symbology in some interesting way. Adding an ankh, or wings of the phoenix, the glyphs or other ancient text...something that represents things that endure, and are eternal...I look forward to seeing the final designs.

Kind Regards,
