Vision's Sown, An Ancient Baking CompanyLogo Design Contest

The logos that were submitted look great, but in case you are wanting something simpler for your actual logo: here is my idea. I combined an ancient-looking sun with a flax flower for a simple, yet memorable icon. I just thought it might be nice for you to see some less "busy" options, since it will likely be going on packaging and other small things.

I like your thinking. Could the flax flower be more detailed and blue in the center of the sun? You are correct in your thinking... this logo will be on aprons and cookie packages to begin with.

You are welcome jgoodew. I love the logos with ovens, but there is a bit of magic in the simplicity of the sun and the flax flower. In nature one could not exist without the other. So this logo design fascinates me for that reason. I guess the sun is the first transformation for the plants, the oven is the second transformation after I invoke my specialty plant only bakery formulas. WOW! One question, could the flax flower petals be a combination of other flower petals? Say a pink rose petal, a red rose petal, a hibiscus flower petal, an almond, a red quinoa bulb all still one flower and central to your sun burst?

If this could work I would love to see you powerful simplicity express this in a logo.

This is truly beautiful and this logo design is ranked number #2. I love all of the flowers being incorporated with the sun. One question. what is the black petal? I can envision this on pop-up business cards as well. #45
