What We Do
TruNorth International Church is a modern expression of Christianity geared towards people from all over the world who have found their way to the northern woods of Minnesota. In addition to religious services, the church operates an immigration legal services office aimed at low-income immigrants.

Color Preferences
Dark and light blues together, silver, think night sky and north star

Alternatively, the aurora borealis or northern lights give opportunity for a far more abstract logo with a broader color scheme
Our Ideas & Additional Information
NORTH STAR - somewhat resembling a cross....think Christmas star guiding the wise men. Easy for embroidery is helpful. Looks good in black and white as it does in the dark blue, light blue, silver scheme. The attached files are just examples from things we're associated with, not necessarily directional as much as inspirational.

As we mentioned with the colors, the NORTHERN LIGHTS offer some interesting opportunities.

I'm gravitating toward Darker Blue, Darker Greens, and Darker Purples (with barely any reddish hue).

we don't have significant enough mountains in this part of Minnesota, so that's why mountain-ish logos are being set aside. We do have a couple rivers that come together here and form a valley, but not a valley from mountains, rather - a valley from farmland that was eroded...the rivers sunk lower and lower until they formed a valley called the Minnesota River Valley. The church is in Blue Earth county, and we are far enough north that we occasionally see the northern lights here.

As a church of immigrants, concepts of migration are part of our ethos. So, monarch butterflies (international symbol of migration) and pineapples (international symbol of hospitality) are welcome.
