I think it still works like this, my only thought was that with #145, the non-congruent lines might make it feel more like the northern lights ie when you see them, you have light moving in different directions rather than the same direction (if that makes sense?). 7 months ago Angus commented on #145 Withdrawn Of course, no problem at all, I understand exactly what you mean and I'll work that up so we can compare them. 7 months ago trunorth commented on #145 Withdrawn This is the one. The lines are there but not overwhelming and not too faint. I have one questions about the top border of the lights v. the bottom border of the lights. Is it possible for them to be congruent instead of the current flipped path? The result would be that the the indentation on the bottom would be on the right side parallel/congruent with the top's indentation - so it almost looks like a flag furling in the wind instead of the kind of trapezoid it is now. Don't know if that makes sense... 7 months ago Angus commented on #146 Withdrawn The third one and thickest one. 7 months ago Angus commented on #145 Withdrawn The second one - slightly thicker. 7 months ago Angus commented on #144 Withdrawn And here is the version with gap/white lines. I've done it in three different weights/thicknesses. 7 months ago Angus commented on #121 Withdrawn I have to agree, I prefer this version too! Sure thing, will work that up now for you. Cheers Angus 7 months ago trunorth commented on #121 Withdrawn do you mind showing me this one with the tiny white lines separating the vertical bars you has put in a previous concept to help with embroidery 7 months ago trunorth commented on #121 Withdrawn This is excellent, I saw the other as well but once you described the difference, this is the one I prefer 7 months ago Angus commented on #122 Withdrawn Hi again! And here's a second iteration. Now the only difference is how the gradient ends at the top. This one I've brought back in a lighter blue - so it goes dark blue, teal, light blue. With #121, it goes dark blue, teal, lighter teal. Let me know what you think. Cheers Angus 7 months ago Angus commented on #121 Withdrawn Hi there! Thanks again for the comments. Here is one new iteration, so smoothing out the gradient but keeping the teal/green. Cheers Angus 7 months ago Angus commented on #77 Withdrawn Agreed, this doesn't work as well does it. 7 months ago Angus commented on #53 Withdrawn My pleasure, and yes, always good to have the option to work in both situations. 7 months ago Angus commented on #74 Withdrawn Thanks for the feedback, and no problem at all, I know what you mean on the gradient, I'll fix this one to make it smoother, but keep the teal/green. 7 months ago trunorth commented on #53 Withdrawn Thank you for showing the landscape as we typically end up needing to use portrait and horizontal 7 months ago trunorth commented on #76 Withdrawn Great idea...thank you for that. I still have you on top 7 months ago trunorth commented on #77 Withdrawn Yea, this looks too much like wallpaper. You were right with your other submissions. I do love what you're presenting! 7 months ago trunorth commented on #52 Withdrawn #74 is the right colors but this is the right gradient patern. But for the mini-star sparkle within the bigger star, this one is a top contender. 7 months ago trunorth commented on #74 Withdrawn the text here is perfect 7 months ago trunorth commented on #74 Withdrawn Love the teal/green. Glad the sparkle/mini-star is gone. In #52, you had a little tamer gradient. In 74, the blue green blue pattern makes it more silky and artificial looking, while in 52 it's the perfect gradient. So - is it possible to use the colors here but the gradient transitions from 52? I also saw the others with purple and the one with lines between the bars - 74 and 52 are the best 7 months ago Angus commented on #77 Withdrawn And then the version using solid colours in the strips. 7 months ago Angus commented on #76 Withdrawn Using #75 as a base, showing how it could still work in single colour if needed ie you could use the full version with gradients in most instances, but you could use this version for things like embroidery. 7 months ago Angus commented on #75 Withdrawn Showing how potentially we could put a thin line between the gradients to separate the areas. 7 months ago Angus commented on #74 Withdrawn Here's one with a more teal/green colouring which I think works nicely. 7 months ago Angus commented on #73 Withdrawn Here's one with adding purple/red colour into the gradient. 7 months ago trunorth commented on #52 Withdrawn See other comments on removing the gradient within the individual bars, removing the mini star. Consider making Tru and North different colors. 7 months ago Angus commented on #47 Withdrawn Hi there, Thanks for the feedback, very much appreciate it and am glad you love it! Let me work those changes up for you now. Cheers Angus 7 months ago trunorth commented on #47 Withdrawn I really love this! The shape of the vertical bars is clearly reminiscent of the northern lights. I think I'd prefer no mini star within the star. Also, I wonder if it works without the gradient within the individual bars so that it embroiders well. In other words, one bar is one shade of solid blue, the next bar is solid but another shade of blue, etc. Also, is there room for a purpleish red in there or green to lean further towards the northern lights? 7 months ago Angus commented on #53 Withdrawn And showing how it could work in landscape format as well. Cheers Angus 7 months ago Angus commented on #52 Withdrawn Just showing a variation, more focus on the name. 7 months ago Angus commented on #47 Withdrawn Hi there, Welcome to Logotournament - I hope this finds you well and having a good week so far. Here is one of my concepts. It's simple, yet striking and unique! The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed. It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts. Regards, Angus 7 months ago
