What We Do
This is a private country club that offers golf and dinning that was just purchased and we are looking to "reinvent" the club.
Industry
Color Preferences
We are open to various color palettes, however we would like to see earth tones of green(s), perhaps with accent of gold (although not necessary). The interior and exterior will be redecorated in earth tones and want to convey a classy but comfortable feel. We are not interested in a lot of colors in the logo, rather prefer to keep it clean.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are open to either an updated version of our existing logo (see attached) or a completely new logo. If you go the route of an updated version of our logo, we would want it to incorporate the "AT&T golf ball on tee" feel (although an updated version) but would want a noticeable change whether in style and/or in added design elements (again to reflect that it is a "new" club - as it now has new ownership, key staff members, and will be going through improvements to the facility).
Historically, country clubs have done a traditional shield with crossed golf clubs...etc. Our current logo does not incorporate this style, however if you go that route, I would want a modern take on that idea. In order to do correctly, it would have to convey a younger contemporary look rather than the stuffy traditional style.
We are in a fortunate position that as new ownership, this is our time to change anything we want. We want designers to have the freedom to experiment. I will be active in commenting and ranking (at least 4-6 times/day) so that you are very clear about our thoughts.
