Thank you for your entries. I think that #12 & #13 are a little "brighter" than we were looking for. We would prefer something in earth tones. I do like how you have updated our existing logo (with the ball on the tee) in #15.

I love the updated logo in #'s 15, 19-23. When looking at the script font, I prefer the one that flows outside the ball (#19, 20, 22) instead of the one that stays inside (#21, 23).

I will be meeting with the new owners today to get their initial thoughts on the logos. Once I have a better sense of the direction they want to go, I will rank all the designs, then will be able to update the rankings more often and provide more specific feedback.

I also had a general question that I thought you might be able to answer it for me. I appreciate the fact that you must have read the brief, because you supplied both an updated look to our logo and submitted a new concept (both things we were looking for). I am curious as to why nobody has submitted an updated look to the traditional "shield logo", as described in my brief. Certainly, I did not expect each designer to do all three styles for us, however I am surprised that nobody did one. Is there any insight you can provide, perhaps from my brief, as to why I haven't seen anything along these lines?

Thanks for your feedback. I'm working on the amends and will submit asap.

About the brief: I didn't see any problem. But, i think i've missed the shield detail, 'cos i was focused to update the current logo and also my previous logos in your invitation u've mentioned, so my bad:) I'll submit some new thing in that direction:)

Certainly I appreciate any shield designs you can provide. I just ranked everyone and yours were several of the top choices. If you don't mind helping me to ensure that I did it correctly, Am I first to rank the original designs we like most, then go back and rank the variations. Is that how I was supposed to do it?

Regarding your entry #22, the owners loved the design, but really didn't care for the green. Could you adjust the shade of green (they did like the other green you used in other logos for them) and liked the bronze. We weren't sure how they would look together. They also like burgundy.

We really like #15, but got into a debate about it. Could you share your thought process on it so I can announce a winner to our internal argument. I'll tell you the debate after you tell me your thought process (perhaps you'll laugh at us).

Thank you for the new designs. The owners indicated that they were not a fan of that green, however they do like the green from #14, 15, 20, or perhaps somewhere between the two greens.

They love your style and hope to see more ideas.

First, let me thank you for your all of your work on this. A few things worth mentioning. Yesterday, we changed the name of the club from Sugar Valley Country Club to Sugar Valley Golf Club. There is no need to go back an change your previous logos, however would you make the change on any future submissions? I also realize that we requested earth tones, however once they saw your designs (#14, 15, 20), they began disliking the earth tones they requested. I would suggest future submissions focus on the richer green, or if there is something that is a cross between an earth tone and the richer color, they may prefer it.

Also, we wondered how it would look to lower the ball so that the tee split Sugar | Valley and Golf | Club. Actually, we like it as you did it, since a tee does raise a ball above the ground (in our case the Sugar Valley), but were curious. If this is easy, please submit one version (don't waste your time submitting different variations ). If they like it better (which I don't think they will), I can ask you to submit more.

If you could play around with your two variations of the ball on tee logo inside a shield, we would greatly appreciate it.

Finally, they have been most impressed by you relative to creativity, so if you have any other designs, they would be greatly welcomed!

Again, we appreciate all of your work on this!

Thank you for the new variation. I prefer the font style of your #14, or that of some of the other designers, over that of #171.

Could you make one version where the left side of the "v" that divides the colors looks a little more like an "s"?

Thank you for your continued efforts with this. I see where you were increasing the lower part of the "S" in #305 et al, What I was hoping for was that you could take #228 and carry the part of the line that exits the ball around 11 o'clock, and wrap it over to the right towards 12 o'clock, effectively, making an "S".

Could you also provide #56 and #19 in a one color, black on white and a white on black? I certainly understand that the true value in your logo is the color, however we will have requirements for a one color design sometimes.
