Thank you. Is it difficult for you to post what this would look like if it were on a white background?

I also liked other designs in your portfolio if you are open to designing new ideas for us. One thing we put in our brief was an updated version of the traditional country club "shield" logo. We have only received one submission with a shield, and while the owners weren't fond of it, they kept it as a top choice only because they had no other "shields" to consider.

I look forward to your continued participation.

Thank you for the revision. I like the white ball better than the green tinted one.

I look forward to any new ideas as well!

Thank you for your submission. I am concerned that the detail of the dimples will be lost on embroidered apparel (golf shirts and jackets).

Let me thank you for all of your work on our design. I like your design #14. It is a clean, contemporary design that that gives us a lot of flexibility in playing with the colors on various embroidery. If you would like to provide any other concepts, other designs we like in this vein are #32, #108, and #63. I like the idea of the dimpling, but remain concerned that the fine detail will be too small on apparel and logo golf balls.

Please don’t pay too much attention to the rankings at this point, as I simply ranked them in order of those that I most needed to get revisions (since my understanding is that only the #1 ranked designer is allowed to make revisions). I will change your design to #1 once I receive the requested revisions of the other designer, but I wanted to give you time to begin working on the changes we would like to see, so as not to rush you.

First let me say that our favorite colors are the green from #56 (more so the dark green of the tip of the point when going one color without gradient fill), copper from #19, and burgundy from #37). Going forward, please color accordingly.

Our favorite fonts are those of #182, #37, #108, and #170.

Different mock-ups requested to entry #37:
1. Could you provide different all of the combinations of a one, two, and three color design using the green, burgundy, copper, and/or black on a white background?
2. Please show a second version of these on a black background.
3. Please run a silver gradient fill on black (as in #32)
4. Provide any other mock-ups that you think would be good

I will let you know once I change the rankings for you to revise.

I am concerned that the dimples will be lost when we embroider shirts/jackets, and will be too small for logos on golf balls. What are your thoughts to this? If you share this concern, we could go with a dimpled version for online and print medium, then go with another design (similar but with less detail) for embroidery. If we go this route, please provide examples for this second design and let me know the additional cost you would charge for this second design.

Alternatively, we could simply use the SV initials, or go to a SVGC initials, for situations where the embroidery wouldn’t hold the dimples. If we did this, would there be an additional fee if we simply dropped the dimples and connected the arch? Would there be if we just used the SV with nothing else? Finally, how much would you charge us if we wanted to do the above, but with SVGC instead of SV? Certainly, it is not my intention to take advantage of designers, so I want to make sure I am clear on the rules and am being fair to you.

Finally, while this has not impact on our decision for the logo, once we select our logo, I will be getting proposals for all of our new marketing materials (business cards, stationery, statements, newsletters, postcards, membership packets, embroidery, signage, etc.). If this is something you are interested in designing, let me know. If not, it won't impact our logo decision, rather I just wanted to give that designer the opportunity for a great deal of additional work.

Thank you in advance. I look forward to seeing your revisions.
