What We Do
We are a blended traditional and contemporary United Methodist church in a booming suburban area with a strong community of believers who strive to be the hands and feet of God in the community and the world.

Color Preferences
We're looking for something that will translate into b/w for single-color printing as well. We are open to any color combinations. We should note that we are beginning planning on a major renovation project for our church building. Hopefully colors chosen for the renovation (paint, carpet, fabrics) will be complimentary with our new logo (as accents).
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The current logo was designed to reflect a large window with a cross on it which sits at the far end of our sanctuary -- you can see at http://www.penderumc.org/social. That logo -- orange and blue -- was adopted about six years ago and has not been embraced widely.
The church’s longtime logo was a b/w logo of three crosses. The three crosses are outside our church building and stand high above. They're made of steel (like an I-beam) and are connected at the top (sorry, don't have a pic available). I can take a pic and email if that would be helpful. Send a note to butchkinerney@gmail.com.
You can also use any form of the United Methodist "Cross and Flame" logo and/or interweave that in to your design. Here's more information on it: http://archives.umc.org/interior.asp?mid=1563. That's not a requirement for us, but it's an option.
One final option -- because our church is so diverse -- would be a net of diverse fish (reminiscent of Peter casting his nets and pulling up believers). Just an idea with some promise, not an instruction ;)
