Thank you to those who have contributed ideas so far. I have several good ideas, but nothing I've determined to be superior yet, and I'm hoping for more input. Here are some takeaways from the first designs to help you design more to what I would like.
Red, black, white and grey are preferred colors, but please experiment with gold, green, olive, blue and others.
I prefer the company name to be written in small letters with fonts that are more rounded.
The "LLC" should be in the logo somewhere at the end of the name.
For the most part, unless it is required for your design, the "utperform" letters of the name should be the same color to avoid emphasizing either "out" or "perform" at the expense of the other part of the word.
The icon can either be part of the name - as in O - or in can be stand-alone with "outpeform" spelled out separately. Regardless of how you do it, the icon should be able to stand alone and represent the essence of the company, since I intend to use it as the icon for website tabs, favorites, etc.
The tagline, "The way business should be done!" should be part of the logo, and probably should be italicized to offset it from the rest of the logo.
Experiment with different colors, fonts, shading, dimension and perhaps use thin lines. I like masculine lines and edges in the design that are creatively coupled with some modern, smooth, flowing shapes that are more feminine.
Although my business is healthcare consulting, I want to avoid using medical imagery and prefer business and economic imagery. I will consider medical imagery, but would need it to be very creative and interesting. So, generally, please avoid, EKG, hearts, medical crosses, etc. unless you have a particularly unique idea for it.
Thank you for your entries and keep them coming.
