Thank you for 136 and 137. I kept 137 since I like the gold and black in the icon. I have just pulled it into the "keep" section for now and will rank later. This doesn't exactly convey the message of performance that I seek, but it's creative and unique nonetheless and should be an option. Thank you.
Thank you for your entries 161 and 162. Please continue with ideas, but the 137 entry is preferred, so I will discard these two. I like your font and the LLC written vertically, so that's fine...just work on the icon. The icon needs to be stand-alone and convey the company message, and it can serve as the O in outperform or not. Thank you.
Can you add one of those swoosh emphasis lines under the words "should be" of the tagline? Can you change the size of "utperform" to be the same size of the O in the icon, but still keep all small letters? Can you make the gold color a little less yellow and more gold?
Those edits should get it pretty close to what I need. Thank you.
Hi, I am staying with 286 for now as a top design and will see if I can narrow the field to two soon and work with just a couple of options. I need to give the top 4-5 I still have in the running some thought and wait on a couple of other designers to submit improvements I've requested. I'll leave 286 ranked at this point and let you know when I have a decision point. Thank you very much. It is a solid, creatively simple design that communicates what I want about the company.
Add the swoosh emphasis underline on #251 the way you have on #286. Try to make the icon, tagline and swoosh colors on #251 more gold looking than yellow looking.
I appreciate the updates/revisions you submitted today. I'm not making any further design-specific comments to anyone right now (primarily due to lack of time), but am just sending this message to all as an update.
I have narrowed my favorites to five designs by four designers. On each of the designs, there are likely minor tweaks to get them exactly as I want, but they are close enough for me to pause for a bit, consult others as needed, and spend some time figuring out how to further narrow the options.
As for now, they are ranked top to bottom as my wife likes them. Ha! I value her opinion, so I wanted to start there, but, in the end, it's my decision. I believe my contest ends the Top 5 phase early afternoon EST on Sunday, FEB 9 and goes to the Judging phase. I plan to give some serious thought to each design and then to decision making, so I may not give much feedback or ask for much more for a bit until I'm deciding things.
In the meantime, feel free to submit any other comments or ideas that you may have and I will consider them.
On entry #318 and #286 can you make the following edits to the tagline and the "LLC"...
I've decided I like the "LLC" in black font, so please make the "LLC" black font, not bolded. Change the tagline and swoosh emphasis line to black font as well. Italicize the tagline and do not bold it. Use a period at the end of the tagline, not an exclamation point.
I've moved a second designer to first place to get some edits for a day or so, then I'll move you to first to get your edits as stated above. I like both of your remaining designs, but like #318 the best, so that's the primary one I'll want further edits on, even if I'm leaving #286 ranked in the top 10.
Sure! I like your #318 design. I'll be patient for the other designer to give me a few changes and then be back in touch. I have yours and the other one as my top two at this point. I'll be in touch.
I've moved you back to 1st rank, so please make your edits as follows to #318:

Make the "LLC" black font, not bolded. Change the tagline black font, italicize it and end it with a period, not an exclamation point. Make the swoosh black font and have it only under the word "should" Provide 2 or three options of new fonts for the company name - they should be unique and masculine. See if you can do a color for the icon and tagline that is more "gold" looking than "yellow"
I'll give you some time to work on the changes. If it takes too long, I may move another designer in at #1 for a bit, but will get back to you.

Thanks! #327 looks great, so I'll keep it and discard the rest. I will move you out of the first spot now so another designer can submit, and I will give you another opportunity on the fonts later. The entire design of #327 looks fine, but I'll want to see some additional font options. They should be masculine, but classy and professional, so nothing too noticeable that takes away from the icon, but not just normal Arial looking either. I like #327 - particularly if I get the right font - and it's easily first or second choice in the end. I'll have to decide when I have further edits completed from the other designer. Stay tuned!
I believe your #327 design is essentially final, except for perhaps experimenting with another font or two, which I believe I can still do with you once I've chose a winner. I'll read the rules again and be sure. Since yours is basically done, and one other designer's is done as of tonight, I will allow the third designer some time in first place starting now to make another edit or two. I will get back to you prior to my Sunday deadline.
Your #342 design is great, and I mostly consider it final, but I ultimately may want still a different font. I am finished with work from the other two designers at this point, and do not plan to make a decision until Saturday or Sunday (deadline). I will move #342 back to first place now so that you can submit some other font options if you'd like.
My judging ends around 2:20 PM EST on Sunday. I have your #342 design and one other ranked 1, 2 and will chose one of them. I am hoping to get another edit or two from you before the deadline.
I really love your icon, but am wondering if you can toy with some shadow effect, or beveling or something to give it a dimensional element for my consideration. The second thing is the font. I have inquired from the LogoTournament people how I can get the font I want, but they have not provided any instruction. The designer whose entry is 1,2 with yours has the font I want on the company name. Can you submit the logo in several different fonts for me to have some more choice?
Do you know how this works? If I chose you as the winner, for example, can I send you an example of the font I want by email and let you put it in your design?
I just want to be able to get the font I want in the end and also be able to look at some dimension in the icon. If you can help with those things, I would appreciate it.
Wow, this is getting exciting!:-) I'm working on the options you requested as the moment. And yes, we can work this out ( the font) thru email once this project here on LT is finalized or completed.
Okay. I'm looking for a font that doesn't look too "Arial" and doesn't look too digital, but still looks unique and masculine...and more "bold" and not too thin.
