Logo Design Brief

Client
United States
Slogan
Psychiatry free from the influence of insurance and pharmaceutical companies. Psychiatry the way it was always intended to be practiced.
What We Do
I'm a physician (psychiatrist) looking to start my own private practice.

I've come up with the name "Organic Psychiatry" for my practice.

----

More information that might be helpful:
In the US insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies often dictate the care you get and my goal is to move away from that. My practice will be a fee for service model (ie insurance will not be accepted) in order to deliver patients the best possible care they can get.
Industry
Medical
Color Preferences
I was leaning towards the color green, but I'm open to anything.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Being someone who hasn't been blessed with artistic abilities, my initial conception of my logo would be something like this:
Organic Psychiatry (written in a cursive type font and have something like a leaf at the top of the O and maybe at the 2nd Y in psychiatry)

Use of the slogan is completely at the artists discretion as it or even parts of it might be a bit verbose for the image.

I'm impressed. This contest has received some great entries thus far.

I will be reviewing them with my wife (who happens to have a marketing background).

I welcome any other entries, even if they deviate from my original concept. I'm open to any other logo designs, including different slogans. The most important thing is for the logo to convey health, wellness, a naturalistic type approach, personal growth, and compassion.

Please feel free to ask any questions. I plan to check the site a few times a day and remain active in the process.

I believe I did a poor job visualizing the logos. One thing that I'm realizing now is that I did not put enough emphasis on the word "Psychiatry."

I think at the very worst the ratio of sizes between the 2 words should be 60% Organic 40% Psychiatry or possibly 50-50.

It's important to me that the word Psychiatry stands up in comparison.

I apologize for filing a number of entries in the 'non-interesting logos' category. I didn't realize how the point system worked.

Prior to the top 5 being submitted (approximately 24 hours from now) I will rerank every logo design that has not been withdrawn by the artist.

I truly appreciate all the hard work and effort everyone has put in and shared towards helping me find the logo that best suites me.

The top 5 designers have been decided. I updated the briefing with more information in that regards.

Thank you for participating.

There is no need to rank beyond the top 10. There are no points given beyond that. They used to all count in the rankings, but recent updates eliminated that. This way you can just focus on ranking the ones of interest.

Thank you for the feedback. I wish they had some clarity on that earlier on :)
