H there. This is my take on your logo. #166 & 167 are abstract symbols that represent nature, sort of the outline of hills and some leaves floating on top. #168 is a leaf that doubles as a heart, to represent compassion. Any comments or feedback are welcome.
#166 #167 #168 Ted these are some great entries. I particularly like #168. The leaves as hearts above the hills is brilliant. I can easily see how that may represent compassion and healing.
For #166 I like the contrasting font although the 'g' in organic could better blend in with the word 'psychiatry.' It almost feels as if it's in conflict
For all of the entries, I would like to introduce another color. Some of the brown type logos that have been introduced represent fall to many people (per feedback from friends/mentors/family). I like the green as a basis for representing growth and the spring (typically a happier time of year for many people).
Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for your entries.
Take a look at my latest revisions. #181 & #182 are variations of #166 but more balanced, and also the "g" from organic isn't as intrusive. #184 revisits the concept of the hills, introducing a blue that could represent water (life), plus the heart leaf.
The way 'PSYCHIATRY' forms a foundation for the rest of the image in #181 is beautiful. Going with your hills concept it can really be viewed as the base of the hill with the organic growth on top.
I also do appreciate how it stands out more in #181 vs #182 & #184
In #184 the heart could benefit from standing out a bit more as well (possibly in color or shade of green?). The most prominent thing across all the images is the word organic, which is obviously desired to some degree but I think that could be better balanced. I like how the leaf-heart ties into the color of the word 'psychiatry'.
Finally with #184, the blue dashes representing water are great. I think with an orange color we could represent a sun rise or a rebirth of sorts.
Thank you for your prompt replies & feedback both in logos and explanations
The way that you've enhanced the fonts in #207 and #209 comes through very balanced and clean. I like how the blue is used with out necessarily representing sadness and how we don't necessarily have to rely on the green.
After looking more closely, I think the heart-leaves may benefit from being fully connected, but that may ruin the leaf like look to them
Thank you for participating. Your logos brought a unique perspective to this contest. Unfortunately at this point in time I'm not able to offer you a spot for the next round.
