*** Quick update... I see a number of designs that might easily be already trademarked - or are not unique enough to be differentiated from other trademarked symbols. I need to make sure that the design is differentiated enough to pass the PTO (Patent and Trademark office) litmus test for mark ownership. Thanks.

Since this has to do with light I like the use of Shadows in the graphics.


Yellow as related to the Sun
Green related to renewable energy
Blue Related to the sky
---- Please note this is only a suggestion and I am open to artistic direction on corporate colors and use of non-primary hues.

A Tribal Sun is a direction I was considering ... example in attached link. I am not married to this, but thought it was unique, striking and memorable when joined with a renewable energy scheme.

I want to ensure that a stylized logo will immediately provide a memorable brand identity when viewed on a T-shirt, b-card or web page.
