Hi - I noticed that you withdrew your submission to my contest - it was the "color crossed" 3D sun design... very cool.

I have to admit I am a bit disappointed that you withdrew it. I was actually leaning towards pushing that design to number one.

Is there any special reason that you took it out of the competition?

Yeah, it was disputed in the LogoCourt. The design I'd posted was far too similar to one of Ryno's designs.

I've re-submitted some variations off of what I worked on, though, hopefully they have the same appeal as the first one but without any issues. ;)

I have sent Ryno a message to back off of the logo court disputes. If he pushes back on another one within my contest I will remove him from my contest altogether.

I really liked your designs and the fact that he is trying to lay claim to the solar cell trace pattern is absurd.

As for your current designs - I was curious these look to me like diffraction or interference patterns in light... was that what you were getting at?

To an extent, yes, it was what I was aiming for; something subtle that would imply a grid or solar cell pattern without being too obvious about it, but also dealt with the nature of light. I also was trying to re-capture the same 'color-crossed 3D sun' feel, as you'd mentioned earlier.
