Jim Dandy'sLogo Design Contest

Hello all, thank you for the updates last night and all of your submissions over the past few days. I am going to be in jury duty all day today so to put a fresh brain on it, I am going to have my partners monitor, rank, and comment today. They have been watching and providing me feedback the whole tourney, but I have been doing all of the rankings and comments so please don't be confused if some rankings change today, or some comments and/or requests are inconsistent with past comments. I want to get some fresh thoughts to make sure I am not having 'tunnel vision".

One final thought from me for today though: I'm torn on the generic flexibility of 'Lakeside Grille' or similar, and the super simple and specific but limiting 'burgers and ice cream'. We certainly are going to have more on our menu than hamburgers and will do a lot of fun things with different ice cream and frozen concoctions. Thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of DQ's 'hot eats, cool treats', some of my ideas were: 'tasty eats & frozen treats' or more playful 'yummy eats & fun frozen sweets' or 'delicious eats & fun tasty treats'. I would really like to see some of the high-ranked logos from each designer incorporating some form of this different slogan idea.

I will also post a couple quick personalized comments to each regarding last night's updates but won't be doing any additional ranking myself until tonight.
