#47 favorite style because our sign is not very wide so stacked Jim Dandy's will work best if you want to change the different color combinations to that style. Least favorite font on #43. Could you add a "JD" on the hobo bag? We still haven't decided on color combination--it has to work with another business on same sign so no preference yet. Like your ideas, you will be in top 5.

Unfortunately I can not put a JB on the bag unless that was your idea because another designer did it already. It is against the rules here on Logotournament to use any unique ideas from another designer. I will play with the font and color. Can you tell me what color the other logo is that will be on the same sign?
Thanks,
Leah

The building is a combination gas/convenience/sports shop attached to our restaurant. The other business is color concept is orange and white but hasn't been determined if orange on white or white on orange. The sign pole and canopy supports will be orange. The building is log/stone with forest green shingles/soffit/fascia. Both businesses signs will be stacked on a sign pole and the restaurant will also have a sign in gable picture framed by the forest green roof/soffit/fascia.

The new #53 ad #54 look neat, but font might be too busy and hard to read.

Thank you! I will work on some different fonts....

Like the new font in #57 & 59 better! Black character with black slogan better than orange I think. Like the burger in the hand in 59.

Hi Leah, thanks for the updates. Personally I like the new person better. For some reason, I'm still struggling with excitement towards your design when I compare? I don't know if it's color or lack there of, font, layout or detail. For some reason, most feedback has lead us back to #43 of your designs but I know originally that was my least favorite font and I'm worried about the width when our sign is square. The ones where you introduced the green and blue jump more but readability was a concern.

Maybe use the new 'kid' from #62, 63 and experiment with adding some green to the name, person, and/or slogan (see new general comment to all designers about slogan!) Maybe try a different direction with font--less cursive, and try blocky or balloony--something big, simple, easy to read, and fun? Finally, don't be afraid to go back to a non-white background, a couple of the current favorites are on orange and green backgrounds and as mentioned before, depending on adjacent sign, we may go that direction.

Jim,
Thank you for the feedback. I will see what I can come up with.

Leah, curious to see what 89/90 would look like with the Dandy's being straight instead of radius. My wife doesn't like the radius for some reason. Also, slogan-wise, we are leaning towards 'tasty eats & frozen treats' unless we come up with something better. I know that can be changed at any point easily.

Leah, #123 is our favorite I think. Just curious if you could try something completely different direction for us--would you be able to try changing the bag pole to a fishing pole and possibly change the bag to a backpack? I'm wondering if you would even be able to tell it's a fishing pole. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Jim

Hi Leah, I'm still not decided and going to take a couple days before we choose a winner. We have had a lot of very positive feedback on your new design with the fishing pole. FYI, we met with sign company last night and we are trying to re-face/re-use old white bubble faces on existing sign to save a couple grand so he says we need to go to dark background. I'm giving everyone the opportunity to reverse to see what it looks like so you will see all of the top designs flipflopping over the next day or two.

If you want to do more than suggested, great, but please at least show me #141 with everything outside the circle in green background and change slogan to white and/or highlighted so it shows up on the green. Thanks so much!

Leah, can I get #183 (with cone in air and angled fishing pole) done with #179's full perimeter (around the slogan too), orange-outlined bubble. Then I think we're done and you get the prize.
