#1 - Kid-friendly
#2 - Professional
#3 - High standard of excellence
Our Target Audience:
Families with children ages 5 and below. Most families are in the 20's or 30's and are looking for somewhere where their child will be nurtured and taught age appropriate information.
Color Preferences
The main colors should include purple and yellow.
Other colors could be primary colors.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
The child care center is associated with a church. Would like the center's logo to compliment the church logo but we don't want the daycare one to pattern it style wise. Email me to receive a copy of the church logo: info@harvestchristiandaycare.com.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
After reviewing the entries, please see this additional feedback. Thanks for all the entries!
-- background should be white -- "Harvest Christian Daycare" should all be the same size of font. Harvest should be yellow, Christian should be another color (purple?) and Daycare should be yellow -- "& Learning Center" should be included -- do not include "Nurturing Today's Soil for Tomorrow's Growth -- Do not use the curve and the flame from the church logo -- Do not use a cross or other traditional religious symbols.
--Really like the colored blocks that have been used in some of the designs and would like to see those incorporated into some additional designs. -- The words "Harvest Christian Daycare" need to be very brilliant & sharp. -- Really drawn to the ones that have been submitted so far that have a lot of color. -- Also like handprints included -- Don't want anything too busy as this is going to also be used on a roadsign, so it must be readable from the road.
All Designers please review the Designer Code of Conduct and submission requirements..I know that each and everyone of you had read and agree prior to signing up thank you for your cooperation
You may already know this, but when it comes time for final rankings, designers appreciate when you choose the top three CONCEPTS (as opposed to variations of the same design) the gold, silver and bronze. If you want to rank two different concepts by the same designer in the top three, that's fine.
Also, rank as many entries as possible, because designers get points added to their overall site standing for each blue ribbon they get. This is how points are distributed:
1st place - 50 points 2nd place - 20 points 3rd place - 10 points 4-6th place - 5 points 7-10 place - 3 points
After that, each ranked entry gets one point for the designer. Nobody will be insulted by being ranked last, the points are still good! So if you pull some entries out of the "Not Interested" group and give them a rank, the designer gets some benefit from entering your contest.
Hope that's helpful, lots of contest holders don't realize this and most are glad to know.
