Hi,

Here is my first entry. Kept the flame to make a little link towards the church.
Any feedback would be appriciated.

Would like to include the "& Learning Center" as it is part of the name.
Like that you complimented the church logo, however would like it to be a little more kid-friendly. Possibly with more graphical elements and/or colors. Our colors are yellow and a deep royal purple.
Don't like the "Christian" word as smaller text than the rest.
I like having the slogan there, but it might be a little wordy once you add the "& Learning Center". If you could come up with a way to have both, it would be great. Maybe "Nurturing Today's Soil for Tomorrow's Growth could be in a swirl like in the church logo?
These are just some ideas!
Thanks!

hi kwarner,

On your request I nade some changes.
Christian has the same size as Harvest and Daycare. Placed the words beneath each other because else the size would get out of hand. Learning center is added to.
On the left a pictorial mark of a book with a candle so the flame could be added again as a link to the church.
The tagline is as you can see placed in a curve beneath it.

Any feedback will be apprriciated.

Here is another entry.
Implemented the circle as a more child friendly way to connect the church to the daycare center.
With it i thought of a shorter tagline to go with it. Maybe it is to your likings.

I will appriciate any feedback.

I like #17 the most. Since "Daycare" doesn't fit on the first line, then maybe emphasize "Harvest" and put "Christian Daycare & Learning Center" underneath like some of the other entries. I like the curve and the slogan on the curve. Maybe you could also add in the ball of fire (from your first entry) at the end of the curve over the "H" in Harvest or something? I would also like to see a version of this on a royal purple background instead of the burgandy. I hope this feedback helps. It's hard to know what I'm looking for until I see it. Thanks for submitting these entries!

Hello Katie,

Here are 3 versions on a purple background.
#20 i put the curve around the daycare part to give the smaller words some more attention.

Hope they are to your likings.

I got some additional feedback from our Pastors, and would like to include that here. They would like to differentiate the church logo from the daycare logo more. #4 is more like what they are thinking. Here is some additional feedback:

-- background should be white
-- "Harvest Christian Daycare" should all be the same size of font
-- "& Learning Center" should be included
-- do not include "Nurturing Today's Soil for Tomorrow's Growth
-- Remove the curve and the flame

Thanks!

Mark,

I got some additional feedback on #24 & 25. If we could do something using concepts from both of these, we might be on to something good. Pastor likes the wheat and the ball of fire from #24, but he would like to see it on a white background, like #25. Also, the words get too small when you put "Harvest Christian Daycare" all on one line. Would suggest putting each word on it's own line - making them all the same font. Also, these words need to be much more brilliant, polished looking, and sharp. This logo will be used on many different advertising medias including a roadsign, so that is important. Looking forward to seeing your future entries!

Thanks!

Also, we would want the slogan (nurturing today's soil....) removed from #24.

Hello Katie, Thank you for the feedback.

To give the yellow words more power and more effect on a white background i have outlined them.
This is the revision on the #25 entry. Every word on a different line will make the design to big thats why i have chisen for this setup.

Any feedback will be appriciated. Regards, Mark
