I am wondering if 3 drops, possibly with intersecting ripples may be a possibility?

More realistic shaped water drops is also something I would rather see.....I am stuck on that image for now - open minded, but not yet persuaded that is not the way to go

More color! As I look at the entire concept, I am gravitating towards more color

I don't like the words at all....this was a mock-up a non-professional did - it's the image of those ripples that is resonating with me http://fullcircle-addiction.com/assets/logo_ripples-61578b7a0a38916d7b82fe6bb37ef34a.png

Let me tell you why the image I posted resonates....Full Circle is about many small focused communities of people working collaboratively to discuss and create resources...the ripples are those resources - the three sets of ripples as in the photo I posted represent the different communities....many communities, many ripples, which do converge and overlap, BUT I want to caution you that overlapping doesnt create chaos...so avoid that in the logo...If you have ever seen Bill Moyers website (it wont let me post it here)...the overlapping squares are something which create a feel inside and outside his logo..I'd like a similarly functional graphic with my logo. So far, I have liked many logos presented by the talent here...but none of have screamed, "THIS IS IT" to me yet.

I am going to send individual notes, but here's my feed back

This company is neither water oriented nor environmentally oriented...my asking for the water drop has tilted many of the submissions into that feel, and that's what's not working. This is the merging of sciences, belief systems, plans for change....this is ALL about collaborative efforts creating local and global solutions. The ripples are the change that radiates out..where the change from different communities within the Full Circle larger community intersect, something new will come into being...it's not chaos but creation

The water drop may be a mistake if we can't get away from that environmental feel....perhaps pebbles falling into the pond? Something more abstract that still gets that feel? (Less sure on the abstract)

The other big miss is all of the designs in the color. I said blue and green with highlights - that lends to the whole environmental feel that is just missing...my mistake. The more I look, the less I like - the colors feel dull, lifeless...I go back to the vibrant colors of the Bill Moyers site that I mentioned and I love the energy, the creativity - THAT is part of the community efforts of Full Circle - the creativity, diversity of opinions and plans converging, the synergy of it all coming together....think creativity, collaboration, integration....this logo needs a wow factor I am not feeling yet. While logo will be print sometimes, please note it's PRIMARY visibility is website....

Some neat things coming out. At this point, I wonder if I overthink myself...I want a graphic which resonates, but ultimately I am looking for a logo. I want simple that works in a complicated manner, and I am not as clear as I want to be about how to make this happen.

I would love someone to try something new for me this morning (I know there are only a few hours left) I'd like to go more abstract in the graphic...and try layered circles which may or may not actually look like ripples....the circles could be different sizes, I'd like the colors to have some sense of translucency about them...I want to have the graphic something I can divorce from the words to add pop to the webpage, but the entire logo as a whole must work together.

I will mention also the idea of skipping stones (literally, but probably not) causing ripples as it goes by...

Please read again what my company does...it's a organic, creative, collaborative process....

Hi All,

We extended this contest - the client's contest was noted as 'admin review' thus the client did not do any interacting with designers.

Blues, greens, reds...nothing washed out, faded. sophisticated colors - nothing neon, we're going with a logo on white background ( as pretty as the black is)

General notes for everyone - if you have a truly fantastic idea which doesn't follow this, we're certainly open, but this is what we've been wanting and liking....

GRAPHIC - we keep getting close (and with different designs) but never quite feeling we've hit the mark. Let us explain a bit. We're stuck on the waterdrop image - the drop is not the important part - the ripples radiating out are. the idea is rippling effect, intersecting and creating something new (and not chaos) when they meet. Swirls and spirals are pretty, and are also not doing it for us - we're looking at circles...strict circles intersecting is also not really hitting the mark either - this is organic, collaboration, communities supporting communities, individuals supporting individuals strict circles is too regimented....overlays of circles, perhaps again, we can look at the intersections of the boxes on the bill moyer's logo as inspiration (billmoyers.com). Everything that's too centered, too perfect seems to be missing with us, but pleasing flow is important as well.

COLOR - some are getting close - most are missing. Please refer to the Bill Moyer's logo we've mentioned for inspiration. Some depth to the colors is awesome - flat colors are NOT working for us. fades, subtle textures - these have been appealing. We don't want neon, we don't want primary...we want sophisticated

ORIENTATION - we are liking logos with graphics to the left. We do not want the graphic to interlock or overlay the words.

BACKGROUND - white please. We love the look of the black too, but our web page designer is warning us against it based on some technical/functional issues on the site.

FULL CIRCLE NAME - Delete "Resources" from the name. Give equal weight to both remaining words. We want to see straight line and stacked words on all logo examples. We want name bold, clear - we are open to different colors on the words, but again - equal weight and emphasis. Do not dot the "i" in a different color. It's something we asked of one designer and we don't like it as we thought we would. we suggest black/black, Blue and black, Blue and Red, black and red , maybe even black and green (order of colors not important) on the words.
