Yoga Hikes DCLogo Design Contest

To clarify the design brief:
Yoga hikes involve 45 minutes of yoga broken into three parts with hiking in between. This is not studio based yoga rather these are outdoor urban hikes (through the city) and nature hikes (through parks)

-Target population is young outdoor active types (young professionals)
- Some element of DC symbolism is important. Does not have to be, but could be one or a combination of national monuments, Dupont Circle fountain, DC flag, cherry blossoms, Rock Creek Park, etc.
- Outdoors/nature element is good
- Active is best. Nothing too whimsical or meditative

Are these sessions always held at Rock Creek Park? Should imagery be of Washington D.C. AND specifically of Rock Creek Park or can it be any park type environment?

Hello.
Great question. The imagery should be Washington, DC specific, but does not have to be national monuments or Rock Creek Park. There are urban hikes through DC (starting at Dupont Circle) and park hikes in Rock Creek Park (starting at Pierce Mill).

On another note, we don't do a lot of seated poses, more flow and standing poses mixed with the hiking.

So many great designs. One note, there should be more balance between the words Yoga and Hikes. Yoga can be dominant, but the word "Hikes" should not be diminished. It's okay for "DC" to be smaller.
