What We Do

A little food delivering company that delivers good (as local and organic as possible) and healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks in the Netherlands. We don't deliver dinner, for there are to many companies who do this already. We deliver this food package every day to the home or office of the client before they start their day. The clients don't have to think about, buy or prepare the food. They simply eat our delicious yummy food. We pick up the dirty dishes afterwards :-) Easy. Delicous. Healthy.

Top Three Things to Communicate

#1 - Convenient
#2 - Delicous
#3 - Healthy

Our Target Audience:

Because we deliver delicious, local, fresh and organic food every day, we aren't cheap. We target the upper class of the Netherlands. But don't think Lady Gaga's, think business people who are too busy to eat healthy or people who just love good food and are okay with paying for it. The pricing will be between 15 en 30 dollars a day, depending on the menu. So the target audience must be willing to pay at least 75 dollars for a 5 day meal-plan.

Color Preferences

People will have to get the feeling that Dabbawalla delivers fresh, healthy food that is delicious. At the same time it has to be sophisicated because we target the upper class.

Green would be logical. Red and orange normally would be considered as a cheap color. But really: I really look forward to your interpretation :-) So no restraints here.

Hi everyone!

First of all, thank you very much for all the work and effort you put into making the Dabbawalla design look good :-) I want to give everybody some pointers so that we can take this designing contest to the next level:

NOTE
- Dabbawalla delivers convenient, delicious and healthy food. Try to communicate this through the logo.
- We have a fairly rich target audience: the logo has to look sexy and sophisticated.
- A lot of you have used a leaf in the design. I know this communicates fresh, but unless you have a really good reason, you can leave out the leave.

EXPLORE
- I'm curious what you guys can do with minimalistic (iOS7 viby) design
- I'm curious what you guys can do with food. Is it possible to make food look tasty, sexy and sophisticated in a logo?
- And what about labels? I like where #74 is going. As a food deliverer I can use these labels to label my product. Pretty neat.
- I know it can look cheesy, but what about a fork and knife in the design?

Have fun with it!

Cheers,

Stephan

Hi all,

Some last minute feedback for al the designers who want to take a swing at it. My current top 5 consists out of very manly looking labels. They could even remind you of a whisky label. I really love them, but I find myself wondering how a female, fresh and light version would look like. Something that reminds you of eating a salad in a park on a sunny day with a beautiful woman, instead of having whisky with your best friends in a bar.

Looking forward to something like this.

Cheers,

Stephan

Okay... just changed the top 5 :-P The "very manly looking labels" I was talking about in the post above are now the top 2 :-)
